Wooo~ Made it in time! Everything seems working just fine. Game Profile and Download are approved and all. Thanks to the Queue Mods ;) (I'm guessing Deckiller) for the swift response! Now I just hope I didn't miss any bug or other pests in my so-called game. -_-;
Wow! I can't believe I have a completed game under my belt. I mean, it's crap, but it's still "complete". ...I feel like a new person. o_O

So, how much time do I have left, exactly? According to this I have roughly 8 left before the time runs out? Is that correctt? I made the mistake of taking a nap (or the mistake of not having taken it sooner xD) and I lost some time due to all that. But I'm now in the process of uploading my "game". I just hope it will be accepted on time! >.<! ...Curse my "leave everything to the last minute" attitude!
RMN Pixel Quilt
How about a pixel calendar of 2015? We could tackle the task at our own leisure for the rest of the year, and do all the squares (days) we want. As long as we keep things organized it shouldn't be too difficult to make all the days (even months?) match; but I guess it would be Ok even if some don't. If more people contribute with at least one square, the rest of us could have this done in time. And at the end, anyone could have it printed and own a cute little rmn calendar... What do you think? Too ambitious? =P
Edit: Consider each square must have a number and that could eat some (or all) of the space, making it easier to do all 365 of them.

How can you people make such purty stuff in just a few days? I'm still stuck with the DB figuring out how to use Ace's custom formulas.
;_; *sigh* And I wanted a badge so bad...

Haha! That's because unlike the rest of you, plebs, I post responsibly. I don't waste posts, specially if I can recycle an old one. u_u

[Poll] 16-Bit(Pixel Graphics) VS HD
author=Archeia_Nessiah
Also can you imagine making 16bit graphics and use those assets for 1920x1080 resolution? ._.;
Exactly. While still a valid choice, I guess, working with 'true' pixels at high resolutions becomes increasingly difficult and just not worth the effort... The real beauty of pixel-art comes from when you're working with genuine limitations. It is how you learn to make good use of color, space, etc. But if your only requirement is "noticeably-made-of-blocks" and you use zillions of colors, sizes and whatnot, it kinda defeats that purpose. That is not a conscious design choice, you're just mocking the art style for cheap familiarity points.
I'm actually a bit surprised to see "16-bit" ahead of "HD" in this poll. Funny how people cling to the past. But it's only a matter of time...
@Travio: A bit off-topic, but while I'd agree Suikoden IV is the lowest point in the series, I'd still argue is a "good" game. So, yeah... =P
Edit: Touché. xD

Thanks, orochii. I was just about to ask for that... The Spanish translation of the program changed some things in the database. =/

Yeah, that looks better. But you could have just edited the previous image, you know? There was no need to upload another one. =P

Haha! Yeah, that's better. But you went a bit overboard with it. You see, the problem now is that the color of the bottom level blends a lot with the ceiling tiles. So, you should either pick a lighter shade for the ground or make the ceiling/walls darker. =P ...Also, I'd really like to advice in favor of the four tile wall issue, but hey, it's your call.

Damn! The badges look so purty this time around! *_* ...It's not fair! I can't complete game in ten years, let alone one week. ;_;
Although, the theme of this event seems to be very in tune with a game I've been meaning to make for some time. I could use this as aexcuse incentive to lay the groundwork of my idea. But the scope of what I have in mind is greater than a silly one-hour adventure... Could I get away with doing something like the first dungeon or so, slap a "final-boss" on it, label it as complete, and only expand on it after the contest is done? You wouldn't know the difference (Except that I just told you). :>
