Metal Gear Solid Birth of the Legend

I'm glad to see this here. I remember playing the demo a few years ago; Pretty solid(Heh) stuff. Nice to hear the full game is on its way.

Anyway, good luck! And (a belated) welcome to rmn! =)

I love the 'atmosphere' of this map. I mean, the poses of the characters and stuff. They look pretty happy drinking... My only criticism would be that the tables, or rather the benches, look like they're too big for them. Also, try to cut down on the emtpy space. Either put something in there (more wine barrels everywhere? xD), or put the tables a bit closer to each other.

All Hallows' Event 2013 Podcast, Part 1

Cool stuff! I love listening to these... Btw, you guys should like, re-record part 4 of that one podcast or something... Do it! Do eeet! =B

Final Fantasy 6 Remake!

Heh; That was a pretty enjoyable watch. I would actually play the "demake" if SE ever did one... But in the mean time, I'm just glad to know that I'm not missing on anything extraordinary by not playing the modern games. I mean, if this is really what they thought were the highlights of the story, then I dare to say it's so "final-fantasy-esque" that is no even funny. (Ok, maybe a little. xD)

The Screenshot Topic Returns

@Dookie: Those splash screens are gorgeous! ...But make the landing sequence skipable after the first time you arrive to a new place. Sometimes players like to indulge on pretty graphics (summon animations, etc.), but sometimes they just want to get back to the action.

@Schwer-von-Begriff: Alright, the floor tile and the lighting have improved a bit. But really, is that supposed to be one of those weird Japanese tables or what? Because I think it is still too small for a normal person to sit at. Also, I noticed you not only made the roof tile darker, but the walls as well. They no longer look like Hospital walls... Besides that, the shape of the room is a bit too irregular, isn't it? Remember to think in terms of the entire floor or even the entire building in order to design believable interiors.

[Poll] Game Titles

Why not just "Demon liberation" or "Day of Liberation"? Heck, why not just "Liberation"? Is it really that important to make the title of your game sound all obscure and stuff? Will at least the Swahili language be prominent in the game or something? And if so, why not just "Mashetani *insert-swahili-word-for-liberation-here"? and avoid mixing languages.

I don't know, it's cool if your game has a mythos and everything, but unless it's very interesting, I'd rather understand what I'm reading.

This is a great piece of artwork (as are the other you've posted). But really, what kind of feedback could you possibly be looking for in here? This section is to help people improve their work, not to help them promote it. Put these in your gamepage instead! ...Just sayin' =P

Edit: Oh, snap. xD

Screen13.PNG

Cool screen! But I think the "camera" should be centered on the entire scene and not just on one character. Because this way you have lots of ugly, black space to to the left of the screen and that's off-putting... Also, that's an awfully number of barrels for a throne room. =P

screen_2.png

That's quite interesting, actually. If I understood you correctly, this is actually some kind of mission control center? I assume most of the events will be handled through cutscenes and menus, then... If that is the case, then yes, you probably want to make use of most of the screen. But it's always a good idea to cut any unnecessary space too, so, use it wisely! =P

The Screenshot Topic Returns

I think the floor texture is still too overpowering. =/ I'd take one or two colors away from it, or just make the tones subtler. Other than that, I think the bricks are the appropriate size now... Althought, isn't this station a bit too tall? Most subway stations I've seen are are roughly twice the size of a person. This one is several meters high (unless is for one of those double-decker trains?). =P
