What makes you laugh?
Mostly web-comics: XKCD, Cat & Girl, Subnormality, SBMC, Dinosaur comics... I also visit Cracked.com every day, and browse Youtube for whatever funny thing I can find, mostly remixes and stuff, like those "Auto-tune the news" videos, they are a bit old now but I still watch them every now and then...
I used to love sitcoms as well, Seinfeld, Fraiser, Coupling Uk, The Office Uk, Scrubs, Friends, and many others... but I don't watch much tv anymore.

Creepy make-up aside, you gotta recognize that the poses in the second image are more elaborate and from it you can really tell the game is about ice skating. While the first impression the other image gave me was more like: "generic magical loli bs or whatever"

Just use a 320x240 picture with your window on it shown in the middle of the screen (default position) and be done with it. If you need to adjust it is always easier to edit the picture in photoshop than to mess with the coordinates inside the program, as simple as it actually is.

Nice work, it looks somewhat sketchy but perhaps that was the idea. Still, I like the end result a lot.

Nice, but how about this: a engine that "detects" how many zombies are in a 5 square radius around the protagonist, this way maybe you could lure a zombie or two away from the others and fight only those instead of being forced to fight them all, I think something like that could add more strategy to the game. Btw, I thought you had better looking zombies by now, those are hideous in more than one way.
