It has begun!
This sounds awesome. I like the idea of restoring a town as you progress in the game, I haven't played those other games you mention were your inspiration but I kinda get the idea from Suikoden 3's Budehuc “castleâ€, but with soul-collecting instead of character recruiting? Either way, I'm sure is gonna be fun; and the best part is how rewarding it's going to be seeing Nabia greener and greener over time, and all in pure rtp goodness no less! Yay! =)
I'm intrigued though, by the number and variety of characters you have already planned for this, and I'm sure you'll think of more. I mean, I can already imagine all the work: dialogs, scenes, etc. that you'll need to get done, it sounds kind of an ambitious project in that regard, especially for one with a 1 month deadline... Then again that's another of your strengths, so I guess I shouldn't worry. Bests of lucks with it! I'll be looking forward to play this. =P

This looks really good, I love the watercolor-ish background/texture, It almost makes the whole thing look 'traditional' Heh;
Btw, the word "hierofanÃa" has a wonderful meaning to it, and it's a very good name choice for a game. Best of lucks with it! =)

Those are very good sprites, Kyrsty, taking into consideration how fast you make them is no wonder they're a bit 'messy', but the fact that the character, the pose and all other details are easily distinguishable is really something.

What are you thinking about right now?
"Tripped into a hole I dug every word
With my ear to the ground I loved what I heard
And I couldn't think of leaving while you're feeling down
I just rest my eyes and you blow town"

@Creation: I don't mind the B&W, but does it have to be that way? I think it would be easier to tell that's a slimy arm if it were slightly green colored.
@Bonehead: Very good map overall, I just think that the top of the tallest trees should be like the top of the smallest one, if you get what I mean...
@Nessiah: Why not use gray instead of green for the neutral areas? <_>
Edit: Well, green and blue look very much alike, and at least in that screen green against green looks rather odd to me... So, maybe yellow?

Booble's art stuff
author=boobledeebooauthor=kentonahaha if only. i'm pretty terrible at traditional mediums though, i'm dreading the day i have to use oil paints.i found out i got into art college yesterday, yaay! :)They'll take one good look at your portfolio and go "welp! you're done! here's your degree."
the condition is one alevel. i like to think i can achieve this.
Heh; don't say that. Your watercolors are very good, and that's really something! Watercolors are harder to work with than oils (at least in my experience) because there is almost no room for mistakes, but whit oils you can always change or add or subtract something, their only drawback is that finishing a painting can be a much slower process than with any other medium... but besides that and judging by your digital stuff I think you won't have any problems with them.
Anyways, best of lucks to you, Boobledeeboo! ^^;

author=oh_no_im_meltingI don't think anime has standards at all. xD
...the face is a little too long i think even by anime standards...
Anyway, you drawings are outstanding, Marimo! Regardless of your own modesty, I think your understanding of anatomy is great, I mean, to your level these are more like sketches than anything, but if you were to truly put all your might on them they'd be flawless. Your coloring (sp?) is also very good, even when done hastily it's so smooth and detailed that it almost looks easy to replicate... which is not. I've tried. ;_;
So, all in all, a big kudos to you! =)
