I like this screen, mostly for the colors, they go from cold to warm quite nicely and that looks pretty. The mapping is a bit too symmetric and rather empty, but somehow I don't really mind it that much in this case... sometimes less is more.

Payne's sprite rocks, Lightning looks Ok too, but Penelo's looks weird, is the stance mostly, I guess... Is that a club she's wielding? <_>

*Tries to find this part in the 'full-town' map* Oh, there it is! What a nice change! ^^ ...Why does it look dimmer than the other map though? cloudy day? =P
Edit: Yeah, a sandstorm effect sound nice, maybe just a slight one so there's enough visibility ...and don't forget to add some tumbleweeds too! Hehe~

Why is 'game image' even listed if it's worth nothing? You could at least make it 1 makerscore or something...
Edit: In any case I think a blog and a image should be worth the same... there can be a lot of work behind either one but more often than nothing that's not quite the case, so a small number (like a 2) should be enough so not to encourage people to abuse the 'system'
Edit: Also 4 is too little for a a game page, while 15 is too much for a download, so how about 10 for both? ...what? you're not taking suggestions? Ok, my bad.

Heh; While I agree to an extent with you guys, I don't think you're putting out the best possible message here... then again, since I have the feeling this is nothing but a silly joke I guess I'd better not say anymore. >_>;

Well, for being just starting you're doing a fairly good job, so just listen to Liberty's advice and then keep practicing, give it sometime and then decide if this method is the right for you... right now it may be too early to tell.

Mmh- I dunno, this looks kind of fake. Why don't you try with two smaller and pale-yellow 'dots' of light for each lamp, instead of a big and bright-yellow one, also remember to bounce some light in the top of the trees and houses... perhaps it may look better that way.
