I've been at making games for RPG Maker for almost 20 years! No, they're not ALL Dragon Kingdoms games, just most of 'em.

i've just got my boat and all the monsters have become frustratingly hard, i have a feeling i'm exploring the wrong way.
also that witch near the beginning had the coolest name hehe
Did you go north or south when you got the boat? Because going south seems to be the express ticket to PAIN. (Hello Cumulus Rex!)
You're also supposed to be near level 25 when you go sailing, but can encounter enemies up to level 30 (so you probably won't wipe unless you're unlucky). Not that wiping is exactly a big deal in Dragon Quest (3 and up).

The old HP and SP lettering is still showing up. Also, the cliffside isn't varying enough- nature favors chaos over order.
Also, shouldn't it be FP instead of SP? And a Mario-based HP and FP bar would probably have seven or eight colors instead of different shades of one or two. Most likely red on the left (Black when empty), then orange, then yellow, green, light blue, dark blue, purple, all the way to white on the end.
I'd recommend tinting the other bar slightly so they're not both the same, if you take that approach.

P5 Blog #3 - Release date coming soon...?
I think you mean Winter 2011. Unless P5 is so awesome that it can be released five months ago (Winter 2010 was this past one).

you liar it is already summer!
good pic though.
And it's WINTER in the southern hemisphere.
You do know spring 2010 in that part of the world might be September through November, right? Not everyone lives in the Northern Hemisphere.
As for the picture itself, it seems a little red. Almost the only color aside from her eyes and skin. It's not quite as bad as, say, the Virtual Boy, though.
Tastes Like Spelunky RPG Maker Network Community Metroidvania!
I think TLSMV would've done a lot better if there weren't so many restrictions. Imagine if we were told we couldn't put fire flowers in water levels, for example, in Super RMN Bros.
I'm not familiar with Tastes Like Spelunky, but would it have been impossible to make a hub level much as in Super RMN Bros., where it didn't matter what power up you used, or how many (within reason), as long as it wasn't blue Yoshi?
All the restrictions are the reason I didn't enter this contest.

Reason behind the title change.
(psst, you're doing it wrong)
You're supposed to wait until you've COMPLETED a Chrono Trigger game, like Ratty524 did, where even if Square-Enix does something, the game is already out there. Now, it's TOO LATE. For some reason, Square-Enix is relentless about Chrono Trigger fan games, yet doesn't care about Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest ones.

Developing new RPG Maker
$100 x 90 = 9,000
You're only expecting 90 people to use this new maker? Although, at that price... wait, you're willing to make it $70?
Okay. $70 x 130 ~ 9,000 (is actually 9,100) That's not much better, really. Only 130 people in the whole wide world are going to buy this. I doubt even Action Game Maker did THAT bad.
Whereas if the new maker was $19.95 and was actually, you know, GOOD, it would probably sell well in excess of 5,000 copies. This would break even or better, if your OH NOES $9000 figure turns out to be true.
THEN when that maker breaks even, you can make an improved version a few years later and really bank on the good word of everyone that bought the first one.
But, of course that won't happen.
