Action 52 VX - 24 Hour RPG Maker Throwdown
24 hours or less, Max. Action 52 was so awful that you can make ANYTHING and it still wouldn't be as bad as those things that I hesitate to call games were. Some of the games even crashed or let you walk through the walls or fall through the floor.

Actually, they did announce Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2, to be released April 28th (in Japan), no less! That could probably get its own topic, though.

The funny thing about this is 1.5 isn't even THAT bad, assuming the average is 2.5 (Remember, we start with ZERO not 1). Given the fact that games always have flaws (meaning 4.5), that pares the average down to 2.25, or 2 since we don't do quarter-points.
Just fix the security cameras thing like was mentioned by several people 4 (?) years ago and tone down the swears, and that gets the game back towards average.

RPG Maker 95 Engine Page + Category
I'd just worry about putting out whatever RM2k/3 games you (anyone, not just Chaos) have now before it happens. The Makerscore for the games still would count (I asked), but any NEW submissions would be denied.
As for older games (RM95 and earlier)? That's what our Lockers are for, I suppose.

A montage of thoughts about several games
The sequel was called Legaia II: Duel Saga, and I guess it was overlooked, because the series never got a trilogy game (at least not on this side of the ocean). It also had bad voice acting. I thought the girl (Noa?) was saying cereal or Ontario when she died, for example.
I also thought Final Fantasy IX was ripping the original Legaia off, as both involve Mist quite heavily in their storylines.

Hooray! The hide tag works again! That makes it a lot easier to show large images and stuff.
And I'm thinking about why I haven't played FFXII yet, with FFXIII looming. I hope FFXII isn't as much as a grindfest as FFV was, though FFV isn't as bad as Uberwall makes it to be (60 hours in world 1? I don't recall having spent 60 hours by the end of world 3!).
