I've been at making games for RPG Maker for almost 20 years! No, they're not ALL Dragon Kingdoms games, just most of 'em.

This program works well with RMN Midsummer Dream and Dragon Kingdoms V (up until it reaches an RTP map at Map #330), but doesn't play nice with Befuddle Quest 5 (RTP?) and Alter A.I.L.A. Genesis (because it can't open XYZ files). In other words, it isn't working with RTP maps.

You have four days, though exceptions will be handled on a case-by-case basis, especially since this is the holidays.
-Format should be .png
-Dimensions should be 8.5 by 11 inches or 612 by 792 pixels.
-Do not upload to RMN locker, upload it to imageshack or etc.
-When you finish, send it in a PM to the next person AND send it to me.
-The STORY goes backwards--MAKE SURE you remember that. So technically, the person you send it to is doing the page BEFORE yours. At the end the pages will be reversed.
-Please copy and paste this note in your PM.
-Please post in the topic when you are finished so we can keep up with progress!

DQ9 and FF13 on sale for $17 on day after American Thanksgiving
post=Mitsuhide_The_Vagrant
Wait, why is DQ9 being sold for such a low price? Was it bad?
...guess I'm out of the loop.
Yeah, DQ9 was terribl-y awesome! It also seems to be getting a second wind saleswise right now, which is quite rare for a Dragon Quest.

The thing with my idea is that I want it to be constantly rotating, with emphasis on 'weekly' or a similar timeframe. I don't want one game to have the spotlight for too long and other games to be ignored, which is why I emphasis a 'Top 5' (so even if one game has the most downloads/views/comments for more than one rotation, there's still four other potential games to get recognized) format and for that format to be constantly refreshed.
Just keep in mind we don't have 260 games a year on this site that are completed, or at least are complete enough to get the full experience. We'd very shortly run out of games to talk about, as sad as that is. If you're talking about doing this with demos, well, I think it would be silly to highlight Legends of the Crystals VII: Towards a New Journey the week before it is listed as Cancelled on its gameprofile. Because the author ran out of time/lost the game files/just got bored of it/etc.
Also Idida1, one dead animal is one too many. Can he please get off my

If Necropolis had a download, it would at the very least have a place in my "Games Released in 20XX" section, which has changed to include some info about the game, its reviews, and whether or not it has a Let's Try, as well as advice for the developer, if any.
I guess I could have a small section for upcoming games, too, it's just that so often, they don't actually release.

By the numbers
Vacant Sky is pulling better numbers than Dragon Quest VIII/IX (outside Japan)? How haven't I heard of this game?
Umm...
Could possibly be yet another glitch in the program, I ran into the same problem quite a while back. Another possibility: are you running RMVX in administrator mode? (If using Vista or Windows 7) It might be blocking certain changes for some reason.
Befuddle Quest 5: Zack to the Future
I wish there was a "Skip Puzzle" button on some of these. Particularly the Pit and the Pendulum one. I didn't realize I needed trigonometry skills to beat a puzzle. Sorry, but this isn't my type of game.

Why is he now banned?
This does not make that much sense.
Wasn't he unbanned?
He was supposed to be banned until December, not October, so basically it was a(nother) ban evasion.
Games that have stood the test of time?
Dragon Warrior III, IV & VII, Dragon Quest V (DQVI didn't take for me and DQVIII is still a bit recent)
Final Fantasy VI through X (yeah, the last one is a PS2 game- it is going to be 9 years old later this year)
Secret of Mana and SD3, Legend of Mana (why it wasn't SD4 is beyond me)
Almost all the Mario games (Sunshine hit a bit of a lull)
Breath of Fire III and IV (BOF 1 was Capcom's third RPG, I believe- and it shows, and BOF 2 is a bit of a mess)
Castlevania III, IV, SOTN (the first CV is clunky and the second was refined in SOTN)
The Legend of Zelda series (well, except the CD-I games, of course)
And for some reason, Pac-Man, despite being 30 years old.

post=204918FFI was basically superseded by FFIII, which was then replaced by FFV. And FFIV is surprisingly harsh to get into nowadays.
FFII definitely has not stood the test of time. That game is buggy as fuck.
