Was there ever a script to change equipment during battle for VX?
In XP I think you can do that without scripting and just use a common event. I haven't used VX but the situation might be similar.
Items and magic can have common events attached to them and from there you can create an event that switches equipment.
So again I'm pretty sure its possible in XP and it might be possible in VX.

You all raise goods points.
I suppose I shouldn't have said the number system is old fashioned.
It's interesting listening to your reasons for the number system.
But still I think it's nice to explore and talk about different ways of doing things.
Another review system that I think works well is what the Completionist uses which if I remember correctly is a scale of: Complete it, Finish it, Play it, Look at it, Donate it, Burn it.
It's a bit comical of course but effective I think.

Has anyone ever made a Minecraft like game on RPG Maker?
I imagine it'd be pretty difficult to make a game like that. Every tile on the map would have to be an event. That would cause major slow down. Plus, there would have to be many switches involved with memorizing everything the player changed in the world. I know from experience because I experimented with making a customizable house with various decor options in my game and decided that was to time consuming for a bonus area of the game. And even that would be easier than a full on Minecraft like game. You'd also have to deal with randomly generated maps and monsters which I believe is possible with RPG Maker but still challenging.
The crafting system should be pretty easily doable although I could be wrong.
Any torch event would have to be able to influence other events around it in order to keep monsters away. That would be tough to do. Although perhaps I'm thinking of the wrong solution to the torch problem.
You'd also have to figure out some kind of water flow mechanic.
I'm sure there are tons of other issues as well.
To be fair though said game doesn't have to have all of the same mechanics as Minecraft so not all of these issues would necessarily factor into a hypothetical Minecraft inspired game.

Please try my game. It's a very unique African themed adventure/puzzle game.
It's a bit like Zelda except without combat. I wanted to make a game that did not focus on the protagonist using violence to solve problems. But, like Zelda, you'll use items and magic to make your way through a huge world.

P.S. Please don't be scared by the review from Sviel that's a very old review and I have worked for many months to fix the issues brought up in that review.
I'm currently awaiting new reviews from some people on this site who have kindly given my game a chance. I hope you'll give it a chance too.

Nintendo is noW working with a third party platform... Netflix
I don't want them to adapt a particular game in the series. I hope they just create a new story.
Unless they adapt the very first game because that one has so little story that it could use some expansion.

Terranigma will blow your mind!
author=Trihan
(air filled with the smell of roasting Hamlet, anyone?)
Yeah I remember that.
So I'm on the surface world of Terranigma. I'm doing a level in Africa but I also went to Japan and Arabia and there was nothing there. Do more places show up as you progress through the game?
[Poll] Final Fantasy Mages
The mages in Final Fantasy have very iconic designs. My favorite was always the Red Mage. Who is your favorite?
So Rayman is probably DLC in Smash
There was some leaks about it recently. It's possible that they could be fake but they seem really legit.
Personally I'd rather see Simon Belmont, Shantae, or a Moogle/Blackmage.
But oh well. At the end of the day I get to play as Shulk so Nintendo can throw in whoever they want lol.
What's your opinion on Rayman being in?
Update: I looked into it more it's probably fake. Sorry.

Anyway if this seemed like negative criticism that's not what I intended. I like RMN! I just wanted to know if you had heard about these new types of ranking systems and if you thought about using them.
I heard that one of the biggest gaming sites in Britain switched to a system similar to this. A friend of mine told me about it so unfortunately I don't have a link to it.
