How do I get a tester copy to work?
I uploaded a version of my game for testers only. Then sent the link to a friend but my friend was unable to see it instead he seems to have been redirected to the general downloads page.
Do I have to officially designate him as a tester? If so how do I do this?
EDIT : I think me and my Tester got the thing to work so ignore this post.

Experimental guarding ability
thanks for the input I'll consider those options
except for the defeating enemies one because you don't kill enemies in my game.
The gameplay is kinda like playing Zelda without being able to attack.
It's an adventure puzzle game.
But anyway the other suggestions you made might work
Thanks LockeZ and Link_2112

Experimental guarding ability
Experimental guarding ability
One of the main game mechanics in my game is evading enemies.
Some enemies have set paths, some directly approach you, etc. Occasionally there are enemies that move around randomly. Some players have trouble with these enemies. They have suggested I give them set paths or lower the amount of random moving enemies in said area. In some cases I have agreed to doing this.
But, I think random movement can add some fun variety.
I believe the main concern is that they feel that because those enemies move randomly it is not always the players fault when they get hit.
So I thought up a way to change that by adding in a guard ability.
It works similar to Street Fighter 3's parry and Soul Calibur's guard impact.
When an enemy hits you if you press the C button a split second after being hit Lanoa will form a spirit shield negating the damage.
The ability will only be for certain enemies like the random moving ones. My reason is that if you get really good at timing this ability it would make the game too easy and make some other abilities less useful.
Currently I'm using a sound effect to indicate which enemies' attacks can be guarded against.
Do you think this ability would be a good way of alleviating those players' concerns?

Who are your favourite RMN writers/authors?
Well I don't know if I've really played enough games on this site to comment but I think the storyline in this game was really well done.
Remnants of Isolation
http://rpgmaker.net/games/6396/
The game was worked on by Red_Nova, Unity, and Sooz. I'm pretty sure Red_Nova was the writer but I'm sure the other two added there ideas to the story as well. The game was a group effort so I might as well credit the whole group.
It's about people born with magic powers who must struggle against discrimination and fight for their freedom.

Good "Science Focused" Sci-Fi Movies?
Well when I saw this title I was going to list Gravity but I guess you knew about that already instead of a movie here's a link to a youtube channel that's all about science it's owned and often hosted by astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson.

Speaking of Neil deGrasse Tyson and Gravity here's a funny little video where the astrophysicist himself comments on the movie along with some other guy enjoy.

Top 50+ Hyrule Warrior characters
author=Ratty524Glad to see another Dampe fan. He's probably an unlikely character but man it be awesome to save Hyrule with Dampe. As for Nabooru I think her chances of getting in are actually pretty high. They just confirmed a zora and a goron they gotta have a gerudo in there (and hopefully a deku.)
Dampe and Nabooru are my top picks. Dampe would just be hilarious.
So the newly confirmed characters are Ruto, Darunia, and Sheik. Which are my 2nd pick for a zora, my 2nd pick for a goron, and my 2nd pick for a zelda incarnation lol.
Well at least they play in the way that I expected them to play.
Still I think there might still be room in the game's roster for Mikau, Darmani, and Tetra. Maybe, I honestly have no idea how many characters a typical Dynasty Warriors game has.

Ashei is already in the game, I heard. Which is great because I like Ashei.
Ashei could be a cool addition. Hopefully they differentiate her sword style from the other sword wielders in the game. Besides Link we have Zelda with a European fencing style. Impa has a kind of Japanese style katana. Maybe for Ashei they could give her a more Chinese style of sword fighting like Xianghua from Soul Calibur.
Oh by the way I'd love to see what other people's choices for characters would be. It doesn't have to be a long as mine lol. I should mention I realize they won't put that many characters in the game I'm mostly routing for the first 16 characters that I mentioned in the list. I just wanted to make a huge list of who I think could potentially be a character in the game.
Anime List
I also love Paranoia Agent, Escaflowne, and some of the other animes that you all mentioned.
As for stuff I'm not aware of,
Boogiepop Phantom looks interesting I might check it out.
D-Gray man might be cool but damn that's a lot of episodes.
5 centimeters per second looks really nice definitely will give it a watch.
I watched the 1st episode of Knights of Sidonia it seemed a bit jumbled and clustered if you know what I mean but maybe it'll get better as the show goes on. I'll probably keep watching.
I can't remember if I finished watching Monster but it was really good.
Some of the other stuff that was mentioned will also be put in my anime waiting list of stuff to watch thanks for the input.
