Final Fantasy connections + Gilgamesh anime
I am aware of the old Final Fantasy animes. I've seen them. But, that doesn't mean they can't do another one and I want it to involve Gilgamesh. Also, if they did make an anime like that I want Gilgamesh to have an unnatural fear of Carbuncle. Yes, I'm talking about the cute little green summon. In his original debut in FF5 he was monstrous so it'd be funny if Gilgamesh was afraid of the cute version since he knows how terrifying it once was.
Another notable character could be Bahamut since he's in every FF game he could be Gilgamesh's reluctant best friend because he could be the only one who retains his memories despite Gilgamesh's dimension hopping (game hopping). What I mean is he'll take the form of whatever FF game Gilgamesh is in during said episode but will still be the exact same character whereas someone like Shiva won't recognize Gilgamesh which will confuse Gilgamesh and lead to some funny moments hopefully.

Final Fantasy connections + Gilgamesh anime
So some of you may know that there are little references that connect Final Fantasy titles. (I probably don't know all of them but heres a few I do know about)
FF2 and FF4 - The town of Mysidia is in both 2 and 4. Also, apparently in some of the old designers notes for FF 4 its said that the founder was Minwu the whitemage from ff 2.
FF7 and FF10-2 - I didn't finish 10-2 but from what I hear there is a boy in it named Shinra who is an ancestor to the guy who forms the Shinra corporation in FF7
FF12 and various FF Tactics games - If I remember correctly the Tactics series shares the same world as FF XII.
FF5 and FF8 + many other Final Fantasy games - At the end of FFV Gilgamesh says something like "the next time we see each other I will fight along side you" (This isnt a direct quote I'm going on memory here) next time we see him is FF 8 where he helps you fight in the form of a summon. And, yes this is the exact same Gilgamesh. After being sent into the void by ExDeath Gilgamesh gained the ability to dimension hop so every time you see Gilgamesh in any Final Fantasy game that is the same one from FFV. It's not like how every FF has a Cid those are all different Cids. There is only one Gilgamesh.
So for some of you FF fans I'm not breaking new ground but thats not the end of this post.
I bring up this stuff because I think it would be really cool if they did a comical Final Fantasy anime starring Gilgamesh in which he dimension hops to every different game world in the series. In one episode he can be fighting against Cloud Strife in another he could be helping out Terra and the Returners. In one episode maybe he warps to the world of FF III and a Fat Chocobo lands on him and part of the episode is dealing with shenanigans like that. He's neither good nor evil he just gets into random awkward situations on his quest to find the Excalibur. Also he can bring his buddy Enkidu hopefully in dog form.

[Poll] Your favourite magic element!
Never seen a game with space as an element but that would be cool so I picked that.
As far as I know Meteor magic (or Meteo as we called it in my day) in Final Fantasy is always either classified as non elemental or time.

Mikau and the Happy Mask Salesman for me!

I mention Skull Kid in the first paragraph I said I want him as a villain.
Don't worry my fellow Majora fan I got you covered
A Zelda Movie Cast

Danny Devito as Tingle made me laugh so freakin' hard, aslo Orlando Bloom would be the sexiest Link alive. After all, he is already the sexiest LotR Elf alive.
Anyway, it's probably not likely that a live-action Zelda movie would ever get made, considering on how Nintendo of America won't support live-action adaptations of their franchises, at least after the dreaded Super Mario Bros. movie.
Glad I made someone laugh with that. But, seriously Danny Devito would be perfect for that role.
I heard that for a short while a Metroid film was being developed but it got canned.
This was around the time of Metroid Prime I think.

I always thought that Link and Zelda were basically kids.
Well in some games they are and in some they are adults. I'd be fine with them casting kids but I'd rather have the adult Link and Zelda.
A thought came to mind. A lot of hollywood adaptations of fantasy stories have lately been warped into Lord of the Rings wannabes. I like Lord of the Rings after all why else would I pick Orlando Bloom he's damn near perfect for the role.
But, BUT, I hate when stuff like Alice and Wonderland gets warped into Lord of the Rings. Did you see that live action Alice it had wars and sanity and Alice with a sword and armor.the film had some redeeming qualities but that besides the point That is NOT Alice and Wonderland. Alice in Wonderland is supposed to be crazy, weird, and wondrous. My point is if they did do a Zelda film it better feel like Zelda and not try to rip off Lord of the Rings.
How much weight do people REALLY give to nostalgia?
Well people do tend to remember things better than they actually were but that doesn't mean that old games aren't good. In fact its unfair to say that old 2d games are worse than 3d games or vice versa they are just different kinds of experiences and everyone is going to have there own opinion on whats better.
Is a first person shooter better than an old top down shooter? No they are just different experiences that can both be fun in there own way.
Is Final Fantasy 5's job classes better than Final Fantasy 10's sphere grid? Some will like one more than the other regardless. They are just different and thats a good thing.
Final Fantasy IV is my favorite in the series. Do I think it's the best? Eh probably not but whatever. So for me nostalgia definitely is a factor but thats certainly not the whole story. I could certainly give non nostalgic reasons for FF IV's greatness for example it has a more epic scope than any other Final Fantasy because it's the only one where you leave earth and go to the moon.
Well I think I started rambling but anyway hope that helps.

Dubbed and Subbed

There should be an option for Audio/Languages before you play an episode.
If the anime hasn't been dubbed by a studio, you likely won't have that option.
Thanks I'll try to look for that next time I'm on Netflix.
Dubbed anime back in the day wasn't very good but these days there are good voice actors doing the dubs and I don't want to read and try to pay attention to the animation at the same time so if possible I always prefer dubs.
I like to read books not video.
A Zelda Movie Cast
Not sure if they should make a Zelda movie but if they did here's who I think they should cast.
Link - Link is an avatar like character. The various Links through out the timeline are rarely even related. Link can pretty much be anyone. Link could be cast as man or a woman and be any race really. It's all good to me. Instead of listing a one specific person here are a few possible Links.
Orlando Bloom/Ellen Page/Donald Glover/John Cho

Zelda - Zelda needs to be regal and determined how about Natalie Portman.

Ganondorf - Naveen Andrews I think can bring the kind of powerful presence needed for Ganondorf. EDIT: Oops I accidentally had one of his character name here sorry about that. I fixed it. I'm not that great at remembering names of various actors and actresses.

Extra Characters
Dampe Steve Buscemi

Tingle Danny Devito

If they do make a movie I prefer they make a new story rather than remake of a particular game in movie form.
Now one movie would be fine but since holly wood likes trilogies my suggestion is the first film be kind of a classic Zelda story but the 2nd and 3rd be a lot more weird and experimental like how Majora's Mask was. That would of coarse mean that Ganon only be in one of the 3 but again I think 1 film would be enough.
More importantly they should not try to cram too much Zelda stuff in the movie otherwise it'll be a mess like the Green Lantern film. Keep it simple.
Complex is good for games but simple is better for movies.
Alrighty then, let me know who you would cast and what your thoughts are on Zelda movies.
Edit: Some of the images links broke I guess so I had to replace a few.

Dubbed and Subbed
This is not about Dubbed VS Subbed.
I get that there are pros and cons for both. I'm not here to debate that.
Here's the thing I've been trying to watch some anime on Netflix but the only option they give me is subbed. I don't read that fast plus I'm usually eating while I watch I need dubbed anime. Is there an option for this? I sure can't find it.
If Netflix wants to get more people into anime they need a dubbed option. I've watched anime in subtitles in the past but frankly I rather not. It's a huge pain in the ass.
Seriously if you know how to get the Netflix streaming stuff dubbed let me know. I've tried the language button on my remote but it does nothing.
