I am New Here...and make a game too...

The video game industry needs more developers outside of the USA, UK, and Japan. So, I'm glad to see you.
I took Portuguese in Highschool but unfortunately I'm not very good at it.

My favorite Portuguese word is interessante because it makes the word interesting more interesante to say lol.

Thank you everyone at rpgmaker.net

YEAH! I recently got back from vacation and noticed something interesting.
Nsala Liberation got over 100 downloads!
That might not seem like much compared to some other games on the site but it's a big step for my game.
Thanks everyone couldn't have done it without out all of you.
That being said I'm currently working on another update based on user feed back. There's still room for improvement and I hope to make Nsala as fun as possible.

I don't know much about cars. Never owned one although I'm thinking I should try to soon. Wouldn't a solar powered car work well assuming it can store the energy it gets during the day for use at night. I'm pretty sure people have tried developing Solar paneled cars. Of course it would need to be really good at storing energy cause sometimes you won't get much sunlight when you have stormy weather. Another downside would be that you cant use a garage but most homes don't have a garage anyway.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't bio-fuels for cars use up farm land that could be used for making people food.

Again just wanna point out I'm not a car guy I'm just thinking out loud.

I am aware that nuclear energy doesn't produce CO2 but for obvious reasons I wouldn't want more Nuclear plants being made.

Anyway getting back to the light bulb icon. I suppose in time even these current bulbs will also be outdated. So, I guess there's not much point in changing the icon. I've heard that LEDs are the way of the future but from what I read even those contain some harmful materials. Hopefully, some one will develop a safe bulb in the future.
On rare occasion I also use candles but the light they produce is pretty dim by comparison.

Remnants of Isolation

I finally got a chance to play the game; it was great! If I have time I might try to post a review sometime. Hard to believe this was done in one month. Your team should be proud of yourselves.

[Poll] Humorous or serious - Which do you prefer?

Hi Rave I was just thinking that what I said about that Gulpy Gulpy game that you like might have come across as a little insensitive. Part of it is cause its hard to get a sense of emotion through in typing but also I should have worded my response better. So, I just wanted to apologize. There is nothing wrong with liking Gulpy Gulpy it just not my style. Hopefully that's worded a bit better again I'm sorry buddy.

I didn't come to this forum to make enemies so please don't insult me pianotm. I was not attempting to hurt your feelings I was just trying to explain things.
I would like to think we could argue this stuff and still be friendly I think of Liberty as a friend despite our disagreement and I don't see why we can't be friends either pianotm.

Anyway, not sure why that car was mentioned since I didn't bring that up. I see why you are concerned about people disposing of CFL's improperly but I would think that we could try to educate people on how to properly dispose of them. Perhaps, I'm being to optimistic?
Of course the light bulb thing is only a small step toward environment protection. Whats more important is switching to Solar and Wind power. So that we can stop using fossil fuels and reduce the CO2 and other greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere.

Again, I'm not trying to hate on anyone's argument. When I first came to this forum people were very friendly so I'm not interested in making enemies. I was just trying to have a friendly debate about whether a cartoon icon should be changed.

Modern 3D platformers?

author=CashmereCat
If you remove the "modern" qualifier there are some more I could recommend.

Jet Grind Radio (DreamCast)
Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal (PS2)
Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando (PS2)
Spyro: Year of the Dragon (PS)
Ape Escape (PS)
Ratchet & Clank (PS2)
NiGHTS Into Dreams... (Sega Saturn)
Skylanders Swap Force (WiiU)
Jak II (PS2)
Sly 2: Band of Thieves (PS2)

Never really thought of Jet Grind Radio as a platformer but yeah it is.
Anyway, yeah I would highly recommend Jet Grind Radio it's one of my favorite games. I've replayed that probably more times than any other game.

An idea I had for a Pokemon game

Yeah I think you would definitely want trainer battles as a way of raising cash since that's something Pokemon fans are accustomed to doing. Having them do tricks for spectators is also a possibilty. You could also capture specific monsters and assign them to do certain things for the community like capture an Electrode/Magnemite to power a house whose residents can't afford their electrical bill. Also, you could capture a Ryhorn and it could give rides to people who can't afford a car.
Another aspect of the game would be designing your gym, that should be pretty fun I think.
Speaking of which I noticed that in Pokemon the player never pays to get in the gym. Perhaps you only pay a fee if you are a regular member at said gym like the NPCs that battle the player before the gym leader. So part of the game would be about convincing other trainers to get a membership at your place.

Anyway hope that gives you a better picture and we can certainly brainstorm some more on other game play possibilities.

A Global Warming video game

These are some fun ideas keep them coming,

I figure I might as well throw in an idea too.
Story wise I'd like to see something whimsical like "The Lorax" which as some of you know was a children's story about the plight of the environment.

Whatever the game play is it should be simple and fun something that can appeal to a wide audience. I'd personally like an RPG but not sure on specifics.

What are you thinking about right now?

Online multiplayer Legend of Zelda games? Aw man, am I going to have to get a WiiU? :(

I'll definitely get Wii U for Zelda it's my favorite series but I may wait until there's a price drop for the system.
