I'm torn. The font is ideal for the game's mood, but slightly less ideal for reading a lot of text in.
I'm personally fine with the font for how it compliments the game, but I can understand the problems with it.
EDIT: Another option is to keep the font, but add a second one, and only use that original font when things are really horrific.

Wow. I've just been playing the new demo and only 15 minutes in, I have to say, this is a major improvement! From the opening cutscene, to the character delivery, to the mapping, to the battles, it seems you've put a good deal of effort into polishing it all, and I'm very impressed! Very well done!
