The Screenshot Topic Returns

I think its adorable, but the stars are VERY Mario, they almost look like rips. I don't know if that was intentional or not. Otherwise, I don't think its overdone at all. I think the glow really breaks up the monotony of the sky.

Demo released!

I downloaded this and quite enjoyed it, until I fought my way through the forest only to be told by Marle that I had to go back to get Lucca. I don't know if she told me this before and I wasn't listening, or what; but I didn't have enough health to make it back through the forest and had no tonics to recover with. Essentially, I was forced to game over and start again. Haven't picked it up again since, but maybe an event as you walk into the forest reminding you that you were supposed to pick up Lucca.

Final Party in Final Fantasy 6

author=narcodis
Does anyone remember using Sketch on Gau after he returned from a leap in the veldt but before the battle was over? I'm pretty sure you couldn't do this on the non-SNES versions of the game, but I remember things getting pretty crazy after doing that. Like ending up with 200 Dirks in my inventory, all in their own stack of 1.

Any use of Relm's sketch in a situation like this can also cause the SNES cartridge to delete all your saves. It can also result in you walking around with a party of 4 dead characters, which if you get into a fight you will game over automatically.

Almost all game, I would use Sabin, Edgar, Celes/Terra, and Mog. I had Mog with Sprint Shoes and Black Belt, and had him use Wind Rhapsody. Celes/Terra would have 2xEarrings, or 1xEarring + Gold Hairpin, Edgar would have w/e, and Sabin would also have 2x Earrings.

They would all stand in the back row, Sabin using Rising Phoenix (can't remember the SNES one, but it was forward-half circle-back), Edgar using Chain Saw, Mog using Wind Rhapsody, and Terra/Celes usually attacking until a heal was needed.

Obviously I didn't use a team like this late game, but because they took almost no damage with this set up except against spell casters (who I would just Runic if I was using Celes) and Mog kept them always healed up with Sun Song, it made getting through the game a breeze. Then, near end game, I would farm the crap out of stuff to get my characters probably farmed for the end battles.

I think if you make the belt move a little less in the frontview it will look a little bit better. Unless he's holding onto it, it looks like he is turning his entire body but keeping his head forwards (read: cowboy swagger)

Timed hits in Rm2k3 DBS?

No, you can't do this in RM2k/3.

You may be able to do it in RMXP/VX, but it would require some interesting stuff. I actually almost had it working at one point, by adding a method to the Animations that would return the flash value, and I would make a flash that was invisible with a specific value that could be used to reference when a timed hit should be hit, so when you hit input during a battle animation it would check the animation's flash value to see if it matched and produced a timed hit based on that. But I never got it to completely work and gave up.

Pokemon: Shards of the Orichalcos

Every Region
Yes, every region. All regions featured so far in the Pokemon World, shall be in the game, including a custom region, created by our team. Each Region will have it's own input on the Main Storyline. Don't worry, with this much Gameplay, you are sure to never get bored.

I'd worry about getting one region (preferably the custom one but doesn't matter) done and complete before you worry about putting every region and every generation into one game. That is a lot of work, and it would be best to set yourself smart, small, manageable goals.

VX script question, picture layers?

Actually I'm a wizard. Wizards always have monocles. Also, I am a gentleman of course. Gentlewizard, you might say.
