Does anyone still play DotA?

Unfortunately DotA has lost the majority of its playerbase and it is difficult to find games.
In the realms I played in it was like DOTADOTADOTADOTADOTA all over the frikin place with bothosts.. course that was a while ago when I was pissed that all my SoTDRPs weren't being hosted anymore :|

Yeah, you see DOTA DOTA DOTA DOTA DOTA but they are all bot hosts and have one, maybe two people in them. Thats the problem. If there were less bots, there would be more people per game and you could actually play it.

Final Party in Final Fantasy 6

Gau doesn't suck, but it takes major meta-game to really know how to use him. I wouldn't sit their in a battle with each rage just to learn what sort of spells and such he gets from each.

And it's not just the spells, either. Rages come with inherent elemental resistances/weaknesses. I think Magic Urn gives you immunity to all magic and status effects, and randomly casts Cure 3 on the entire party.

Final Party in Final Fantasy 6

Relm was one of my favorite characters but with Sketch being as flawed as it was, I never really used her unless I had to. There was always someone better. When I am just playing for fun though, I always have her in my party. Usually Relm, Setzer, Mog, and Umaro. But short of Mog, I wouldn't use any of those characters seriously. :<

The water tiles would be better without those odd straight light blue lines.

looks great! I would actually suggest using even darker lines/a bigger colour difference between the light and dark parts on the trunk because it still looks a little bit blurred, like there isn't enough contrast.

the leaves look cool, the lighting is perhaps a bit iffy though. umm...take this as an example:

the leaves on trees are usually done in sort of...blocks, and then shaded to that particular block. You've sort of shaded as though it's an entire ball, making it look more like a bush on top of a trunk than a tree.

you don't have to change it according to this though, i can see that the leaves must have taken a long time to do. it looks pretty good the way it is, just some feedback :)

Whats your source for this image? It's amazing, and something I will probably use to learn how to texture plants.
