Cashmere wants to review your games
I would be honored if you were to review my game Nsala Liberation.
The game length is about 10 to 20 hours depending on how much side questing you do.
Since I know time is a big factor for you I'll let you know some tips on saving time.
For one the easy mode should make progress in the game a lot faster, but I would say that the original difficulty is funner since it's a way bigger challenge.
Two, early in the game you get a teleportaion item that really helps for fast travel. The teleporter can be used almost everywhere even in caves and in buildings the only exception is for main dungeons so keep that in mind.
Three, you can buy a horse in Umoja City that can help you travel faster. Umoja is past the Big Bridge in the North East part of the map.
If I can think of other time saving tips I'll let you know.
Thank you for your support.

Screen shots Less = More?
author=LockeZ
Releasing screenshots gradually over time is an excellent way to maintain the interest of potential players during development! It turns out that people really like to see what you're doing.
That idea of putting out images gradually sounds good. DO you think that logic applies to a completed game as well?
Thanks for the critique GoatBoy. Chances are that I will make an update to the game eventually so I'll keep your advice in mind.
Screen shots Less = More?
Looks like most of you think I should add more so, I will add a few more some time soon.
I'll take your advice right now GoatBoy. Do you think I should add my title screen?
Here's a link

This version of it doesn't show the New Game Continue or Shutdown but you get the point. The reason I worry is because I used a filter and I know some people don't like filters on images.

If you're unsure about a particular screen, get some feedback before adding it to your game's images.

Thank you everyone at rpgmaker.net
I'm not new here I just wasn't sure where to put this.
I've been working on my game for 6 long years. I can't thank you enough for accepting my game and putting it on the front page. I also want to thank everyone for helping me out with random questions I've posted. You've all been very supportive. Thank you.
Just so you know I actual thanked the website's community in my game's credits because you really did help a lot.
The fact that the thing I've worked on for so many years is finally online and people are playing it is so amazing to me.
I'm so grateful. Thank you so much.

Why do you want your game to be popular anyway?
The main reason I want it to get popular will probably sound cheezy. Basically I want to get more people, especially gamers into African culture because I figure if more people start to get interested in Africa then maybe African themes might become more prevalent in games and other media. I know it's a ridiculous dream but we all gotta have dreams.
Screen shots Less = More?
Is it better to have only a small number of screenshots or is it better to have more.
I"m wondering if I should add more screen shots because I do have other interesting scenes I could show off but would adding those deter from the impact of those main four that I chose?
Also I'm thinking of adding the title screen which shows the main character and possibly having that replace the image that is being used as the game's icon right now.
What are your thoughts on how to deal with screen shots.

Games based on World Cultures
author=nurvuss
Have you played Digital Devil Saga 1 & 2? The world in those games is heavily based off Aryan architecture and mythology. Aryan as in Indo-Iranian, not...y'know. I know you haven't expressed an interest in this particular culture, but the setting really makes it stand apart from the crowd.
Nope I haven't heard of that game but world cultures in general are all interesting to me. So, I'll check out a review or a let's play of it some time and if I like it, I'll see if I can find a copy. Thanks for the suggestion nurvuss.

How does one effectively get the word out about their game?
How do games like Pom Gets Wi-Fi get so popular? (I don't mean that in a bad way, just so you know I think that game is great.) I'm sure the fact that Lucahjin did a Lets Play of Pom Gets Wi-Fi had to help its fame but surely for her to play it, the game must have already had some good notoriety. So, besides the fact that its a fun and unique game, how did it get so successful?
Basically I just want some tips on this sort of thing.
Thanks in advance.
