Release Something! Day II [Discussion]
Whatever man, I just think its irresponsible to expect people to download a bunch of useless junk just because the creator didn't feel like putting everything into one package when he sent it out. It's alienating everyone outside of the rmk community. Granted, like harmonic mentioned, it could just be because it wasn't a "planned" public release.

Guys you seriously need to make your games stand-alone. You can't expect a ton of people to play it if they have to download other crap. What about getting traffic from outside of the community?
I'm gonna second this. It surprises me how so many people use RTP resources, then don't include them in the project folder. This is the exact reason why I still haven't played A Blurred Line. I hear all these great things about it, but if the creator can't be bothered to make their game playable for people without 2k's RTP package, then to hell with that.

What we did horribly on our first games.
My first one was about Alex fighting the Homeless King. He was residing in this tower on the north end of the world. And to beat him, you had to tell him that he's not really homeless since that tower was his home.
And you could get a secret character who was a ninja named Ajnin. Oh yeah!
