Review Vote Guidelines
1/1.5 - so horribile I will not mention it. No one would like this trash.
2/2.5 - bad but with some good qualities or good
but with many bad flaws. Could have been worse and some people may like it anyway.
3/3.5 - from decent to good games. This is what I normally expect: entertainment. Some people may like it more, others less but it's ok!
4/4.5 - exceeded my expectations. These are must play for everyone.
5 - Rpgmaker Nirvana

*NOTE*: event games/jam submissions and other games that were developed in a very short time or with other restrictions get a rating bonus (usually +0,5), you are warned!

Old/Lost RpgMaker Games - SegNin's Rare/Obscure RM Games Request Topic

author=Darken
sick, i wish I wrote more quick game overviews than full on reviews because yeah the main thing we need is just "coverage" on these games / screenshots.

Correct, the idea is posting links with pics (because I found old threads but I had no idea about the games... and some of these were actually cool!) most games are from the 200-2007 era so they aren't featured here, but I'm also going to post some more recent ones deserving being mentioned. The challenge is posting 1 game each day AND a non-english-rpgmaker game (untranslated) on saturdays.

Saving all of this (TRA blogspot and darken website/list) either way! Really awesome work!

Thanks! I am currently digging old links of some forgotten games so we'll see what I find!

For the Love of RPG Maker

Cool idea! Should play this one! :D

Old/Lost RpgMaker Games - SegNin's Rare/Obscure RM Games Request Topic

Since this site was down I made a site based on the archive list: https://rpgmakerarchive.com/

nothing fancy, but the site pulls data from these google docs https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1GpV2noEdnPlPNttx9C6-ySU29kqZpq_ndGt3e-pfw5Y/edit?gid=0#gid=0 so anyone with permission can update the site archive remotely

Cool thing Darken! Now I know who made that list!
I just wanna add that I tested and uploaded some of these lost games with screenshots on Rmarchiv.de for archiving purpouses. Moreover I made this https://therpgmakeraddict.blogspot.com/ as a "memorial"/repository for links of old missing games.

THE Captain's Log #73 - We're back boys!

I'm finally back home. (after a long trip)
LOL!

Thanks a lor guys for the hard work!!!

Lullaby Review

author=SoulsMindPalace
What a pleasant surprise to come back to rmn to! :)
Thank you so much for your review - and honestly I completely agree with all of your points.
Lullaby truly has a special place in my heart, not just because it's my first game but also because I learned a lot by developing it.
The mistakes I made and the flaws of the game are part of the process - which is why I am grateful to people like you pointing out what could and should be improved.
Thanks again for taking the time to play and review Lullaby!

Hello! Thanks for the quick reply! Ahaha I posted this review while the site was unstable anyway I had it ready! Happy to read this!

PSYCHE Locke Review

This was completely unexpected!
Thank you, Addict :) Glad you liked it!

I sometimes think about maybe expanding the game, since there are some ideas I wanted to implement but didn't have the time to put them in the game.
Nevertheless, still proud of how it turned out to be.

Thank you again! ^^

YAY! To be honest I played this game A LONG time ago (years before I made the review of Karma Flow) but for some reason I did not review it... lol. Luckily I remembered it...

love the atari style graphics!
Thanks for the kind words. It was inspired by the game Faith.

Yay! Game's cool anyway can you set it as default download? Otherwise I cannot post a review... ^_^

A Path of Darkness Review

author=Large
Well, I am very surprised. I am the developer for A Path of Darkness and I never expected to find a review, let alone in 2024.

Thank you very much for the review, and I should mention that the project is not dead. I moved onto Unity for this, slowly learning the engine and what it can do. I am a one man show, though, and progress is slow. The plot is clear and about 70% done (I know the A -> Z plot steps, and I am filling the blanks).

Again, thanks a lot because this review sort of rekindles my commitment. Cheers!

Ooooooh that's really cool then! As you can see I liked this demo, characters and story were really interesting!

Yay! Animal talk! So I can be insulted also by the local fauna! Cool!
