I am the Jester.
I make games using JavaScript, C, C++, Mercury, Java, Assembly (amd64 and UltraSparc) and Python. I used to use Sphere a lot, but I'm more into C/C++ and Mercury nowadays. I still use JavaScript and embed it sometimes, and I usually use Python for build systems and system management.
I wrote TurboSphere, which is a recreation of the Sphere Game Engine with a number of major improvements. I'm not really working on it anymore.
I'm surely going to finish making a game someday. I mean, sooner or later, it's bound to happen. Right?

I never saw a black person until I was about 11. True story.
(but there were lots of natives - the city I grew up in was surrounded by Reserves, so don't think I was livin' all white all the time)
I didn't see anyone who wasn't white until I was about 15. That's what happens when you live in a town of 200 that is inaccessible by land.

I know how it goes. I've said some pretty dumb things in Russian to some of my friends (who know Russian a lot better than me).

Thoughts on the Star Wars trailer?
The Emperor knew of Luke's existence, and probably Darth Vader did too. They let him exist because they later wanted him to join them (either with Darth Vader as his master after Vader had killed the Emperor and become the new master, or by killing Darth Vader because he was clearly not a very good sith given how long it was taking him to kill his master).
The existence of Obi Wan is a bit harder to explain, but it's not too unfeasible that they left him around to train Luke, hoping it would be easier to turn him to the dark side if he had already tasted power.
Fair enough that it's ridiculous they didn't blast the escape pod, knowing they were looking for a copy of the death star plan. Which would not give out life signs, whatever was carrying them :/
Leading the empire to the secret base is at least somewhat understandable, given the empire may just have wiped them out if they took too long otherwise, for fear the death star plans would be spread around. That I'm at least going to look the other way on.
