FLYINGJESTER'S PROFILE
I am the Jester.
I make games using JavaScript, C, C++, Mercury, Java, Assembly (amd64 and UltraSparc) and Python. I used to use Sphere a lot, but I'm more into C/C++ and Mercury nowadays. I still use JavaScript and embed it sometimes, and I usually use Python for build systems and system management.
I wrote TurboSphere, which is a recreation of the Sphere Game Engine with a number of major improvements. I'm not really working on it anymore.
I'm surely going to finish making a game someday. I mean, sooner or later, it's bound to happen. Right?

What if we were being tricked all along and MS actually stands for Microsoft, not Makescore, and the more Microsoft you get the more they brainwash you to buy their products?

I usually start by naming the game something really boring (like calling a puzzle game 'puzzle', an adventure game 'adventure', etc), and then after a bit of time a better name will come to me once I've fleshed things out more.
It would be fun if we had an event where people edited eachother's old games into whatever they liked. :V
Some of us intentionally open source our games. If this happened to any of my old games, even if I didn't like what they turned into, I would still feel really good about it.

It's not too late if I can still find a team, right?
I'd be up to be a programmer on a native/SDL game.

It's a good thing Independence Day in the US didn't end up on Friday the 13th, that would've been a bad sign!

I have a coin-related puzzle.
So I have some coins in my wallet. If I count up everything in my wallet, I have $1.36. I have three coins. What are they?

Just Do It! - Anti-Procrastination Initiative
Well, I did it. I discovered that my coordinate system conversion between graphics and world space is a bit messed up. While I knew that I had Y and Z swapped (this is, believe it or not, fairly normal. Hit F3 in Minecraft and check out the coordinates while you move), it turns out that I also have my X coordinate negative in world space compared to graphics space.
I kind of want to fix this. And actually, I want to swap Y and Z in graphics space to make world and graphics spaces use the same coordinate directions.
So, my next goal is going to be to fix the coordinate system. That's going to be very hard to prove since ideally there will be no visible difference. But I guess I'm not that concerned since I already got 4 goals done? Is that kosher?
