Features you love in indie games
I played games without menus and bars. I played games without goals and I wondered: "Is this a video game, a piece of entertainment or art?"
Let's start with the negative. Bad humour can turn me off. Bigotry turns me off. Terrible mapping, hard controls and war on terrorism all turn me off.
I mostly play for 1. visual experience, 2. sense of space, 3. good pacing. If I play an rpg and it has a catchy soundtrack, the music can make me stick longer. I enjoy a good story, but I also enjoy a total narrative trash with good pacing.
So, it's a difficult question to answer, because there are so many different things I enjoy and I partially enjoy them for their diversity.

Almost ready for final testing
Wait, another Christmas?
Good to hear about this, I've only returned to RMN after some time and my body's ready.

Things have changed since 2006? Shit.
Yeah, Barrack Obama is the president now.

I think maybe buying the Steam version might be the answer.
It might be. I think it's possible to get the revised versions drm free too and they can get super cheap on sale. 2k's mostly the same, but 2k3 has some new and improved features. The venerable engine is quite a beast.

Was Prayer of theRefugeeFaithless ever spotlighted? It's not complete yet, but, I feel it would be a great choice when it is.
That aside, I'm pretty surprised to see Matumori Days being suggested!
Before or after it gets featured?
Libby, the same game can get spotlighted for different reasons, can it not? I mean it can be there because it's an interesting project in development, later it searches for testers and even later it's a hidden gem or classic.
2020 gaming diary
In July, I played the first part of Weird and Unfortunate Things are Happening and some mods for Crusader Kings 2, most importantly When the World Stopped Making Sense and After the End. I might write more and update the thread soon.
