Lawrence of Aragorn

After playing this for ten minutes, I must say, for a game made in such a short time, it certainly has a lot of polish to it! All the elements look great, and the mapping is fantastic!

I'm confused on a couple of points, but they're really just minor nitpicks. First off, from the main menu, there's no "Shutdown" option. I was playing full-screen, and had to alt-tab out just to close the game. Second, after you beat a battle, the fancy system graphic seems to revert to the RTP one when displaying the battle results. Third, on the world map, there's a big sign that, when examined, just gives a "..." response. Is this supposed to be the mudslide people were talking about?

All in all, very good, and I'll be playing this to the end to see how it turns out :D

Iris

No, I don't recall ever installing that on the laptop. Will that help the game work on my desktop?

Iris

I have the latest version of DirectX installed. However, I downloaded the game on a laptop and it works just fine; there's music on the title screen and a really catchy tune where there used to be static. Not sure exactly what's wrong with my desktop computer (other than it being old) but if I play it on this laptop, it seems it'll be fine.

Sorry to worry you over what's probably nothing; I really should have thought to try it on the lappy before ^^;;

Iris

It first starts when slimes first appear, even before the battle starts, and carries throughout the battle. It also happens in maps with monsters in them. I'm also not getting any title screen music, just silence.

My computer's six plus years old, so maybe it's a problem on my end? I'm not sure; I'm usually able to run RPGMaker 2000 games fine (tho they do crash sometimes)

Iris

Just started the game and I'm enjoying it so far, but I'm not sure if the music's working properly? When monsters are around, there is this loud, static-y noise that drowns out the sound effects and is a bit headache-inducing. Is anyone else getting that or is it just a problem on my computer's end?

Newbie here ^_^

Once we secure the Nashville Predators, can we force them to do spriting work for me?

The Elder Scribes of RMN: Reviewrim

Haha, that's true.

Yep! Tie = more winners = awesome :D

I think that Deckiller needs a special reward for reviewing a mind-boggling amount of games, too!

The Elder Scribes of RMN: Reviewrim

Wow, thank you very much to everyone! This is my first big RMN event to participate in and I totally didn't expect this! I think Housekeeping deserves some of the credit for making such a complex and interesting game, as well ^_^

Here's to more great events! (I'm totally excited to play these RM Venture games when that event wraps up :D )
