Nsala Sunset

I got to see the 7th episode Tyranos. It was really good!
I might make a blog about it since it shows off Umoja which is a really great area of the game. I put so much work into that city, my right hand was in pain for about a month after I finished it.

looks interesting, lot of creative work. Good luck!

Thanks for the compliment Bogo! I'm always happy to hear what others think of my work.

Somehow I missed this. I'll be sure to give it a look when I have the time!

Red_Nova do you remember when you were testing my last game you said something like: "There are so many mechanics in this game that many of them could be the basis of an entire game."? Well let's just say I took your advice. Both the curse healing and fire magic in this game are modified versions of what existed in Nsala Liberation. The curse mechanics in particular are heavily modified due to it using a completely different timing system that allows the player to regain time. There are of course completely new additions such Rawjal's unique way of healing and the affinity links between characters. I have plans for more new abilities as well, that will be introduced in a later update to this game.

Beautiful Written Languages from Around the World

Though I can't read a lick of it, I've always loved Arabic for its calligraphy. I'm pretty big on calligraphy, and I think Arabic by and far has the most developed and beautiful of them all:

I believe that sort of imagery developed because the religion prohibits depictions of living things so certain artists used calligraphy as a loop hole.
Besides that though I also love the fluid motion of Arabic's symbols.

Are there a lot of butts in Sinhala, or is it just me?

lol. can't say I noticed that before.

Perhaps not the most beautiful script, but I consider Hebrew to be quite elegant.

I like Hebrew too it's blocky forms remind me of Hylian ... you know from Zelda. I know that's a nerdy comparison but oh well lol.

Nsala Sunset

Wow 12 different programs that's sounds complicated! Well you have my thanks for making the Let's Play. I'm enjoying what I've seen my friend. In fact, I posted episode 5 in the media section as a way of showcasing the Rock Shield spell.

I'm sure I'll enjoy your talk about Mancala. After all, a big part of Let's Plays is the commentary.

Cultural Documentaries

I watch a lot of documentaries about world cultures and space.

What is one of your favorite cultural documentaries?

Here's one of my favorites, if you'd like to see.

My one issue with this video is that the host spends a lot of time looking for links between different areas but personally I prefer to just enjoy learning about the cultures on an individual level rather than trying to connect dots between cultures but despite that I still enjoy this video a lot.

Beautiful Written Languages from Around the World

Those are really cool! I remember hearing about alchemical symbols but never actually looked at a whole list of them before. Thanks for sharing.

I also really enjoy the Akan's Adinkra symbols. They're from Ghana in West Africa. I actually utilize these types of symbols in my games. Here are a few examples.

These symbols are most commonly used on fabrics but have many other applications such as being used in architecture and pottery.

Here are links to some beautiful languages.

Lao and Sinhala are my new favorites.

I've always been a fan of symbols and making my own. I actually have created 5 distinct alphabets myself. It's a weird hobby I've had since I was young. My first two alphabets was inspired by Japanese and Greek letters. The third had Arabic influences. The fourth was a combination of Mayan and Egytian styles. And my latest and most used one is inspired by a number of African scripts primarily Bamum.

Are there any types of scripts that you find amazing? Please share it.

[RMXP] Phone-call Common event

I'm not too familiar with the item you are talking about but have you considered making an item that has a common event attached. That way it might be simpler to make since you won't need to script.

Fullscreen No Longer Works

Glad to hear everything is fixed. :D

Thank you! It always takes me a long time to make a nice looking mode 7 map so I'm glad you like it.
Another fun thing about this map is that a number of the plants are animated.
