Sanosuke, making a CBS in RM2K3 is probably 50x harder than what brandon is suggesting! Notice the lack of complete RM games with a CBS? It's because they're extremely difficult....extremely. I don't think you need to go to the stretch of pixel based movement like brandon said, though. Stick with whatever maker you choose, just make sure the movement is done at least in a decent way.

That being said, this is why I know the game is in the beginning stages. It's not an issue really, but if you're looking at the long term of this, it could be an issue.
Don't hesitate to drop the CBS if you don't need it.

Guys....it says in the rules you may edit the tileset as you like. I'm editing mine, because this chipset sucks as there's too many clashing tiles.

There's tons of ways for me to relieve stress. I'll either listen to music or watch some stand up comedy. That, or I'll play some games or sleep. Exercising can also really help out. Usually taking things slow does the job for me, though.

I tried the demo a few weeks ago, and it really is amazing. The mouse controls were a little weird for the first 5 minutes, but it's very easy to adapt to it. It's also packed with tons of action and everything just looks stunning. I'd recommend you all check it out.

Sion, I believe I've seen those screenshots of the town before. I remember seeing how the roof of some of those houses could use a ton of work, but other than that it's fairly nice. Theo chipsets definitely don't fit in, I would recommend you find a better chipset that works with Refmap or Rudora.

Skie, that's looking good! I also agree with Nightblade, but I have an issue with your dialogue. You seem to be breaking up your sentences too much with unnecessary pauses(...), but I know this is going to be a visual novel so maybe I should be expecting this?

Chartley, that actually looks quite nice. I like what you did with the mountains. I'd definitely like to see how you would pull things off with more elevation!

And Cray, that animation does look a little too large. I would lower the magnification on it so it blends in more, but perhaps I would have to see it in motion first.
