Man, Darkloft on Hard is no joke. I think I am actually gonna have to level up. I have been able to manage up to this point just killing what was in my way. But, I am not sure Level 51 is gonna cut it. LOL!
Once you get to that 3rd form Darkloft starts unleashing the beast on you. I am pretty sure I almost took her down about 2 or 3 times so far. But, if you don't kill her by the time she gets to Demonic x4 kiss your butt goodbye. :-)
I'll get her though. Been making sure that I go into that third fight with every buff imaginable and full impulse. Just unleashing Monolithic Glory and Erebus Edge every chance I get. But, one mistake and it is goodnight. Thank god for Healing Impulses and Impulse Shift or it wouldn't even be close.
About how much HP does that 3rd form have on hard???

Wow!!
I am now 16 hours in and I have to say that this game is amazing!! Varied bosses, great characters, unique battle skills with a great battle system, great custom art(which has grown on me more and more while playing), fun puzzle sections(really like the tidal wave dungeons and the love labyrinth), I love the relationship between Merel and Chisa. Great Job!!
You can feel that you really took time to meticulously balance the game. Just enough alchemy items to make some, but not all of the alchemy items towards the beginning of the game. Combat is always challenging, but never unfair(been playing on hard) and the balance of impulse and magic skills let you do so many different strategies.
The only minor complaint I might have would be that maybe the mountain path on the way to Hotenshin may have dragged on a little to long, But, honestly, I love the combat so much it didn't even bother me.
I also had a couple glitches. Once, I tried to escape a battle multiple times and for some reason after the 4th or so time the enemies endlessly bashed me for about 6 turns straight until I died before my characters could go.
The other glitch was, if you make it into the exit at the tidal wave sections when the timer hits 0, the counter doesn't reset and you get hit by a tidal wave as soon as you exit.
I am still somewhat new to the site and have only played about 20 or so games. But, so far, this is my personal favorite. Gonna try and finish this one up tomorrow and write up the review in the next day or two.

I am a few hours in and am absolutely LOVING this game.
Really like the graphics, the music is super catchy, has some good humor, and the battles seem to be just the right difficulty(Playing on Hard). I also really like the battle system. Locking down enemies before they use their strongest techniques and the combination of magic and impulse skills add a lot of strategy to the battles. I am definitely gonna wind up posting a review for this game once I finish it.
Is the music custom made? I absolutely love most of the tracks.
Btw...the sound effect that plays at the end of the battle makes me smile everytime I hear it. It was a nice touch. :-)

The Farming One
This was probably my favorite game from the Indie Game Maker 2014 contest. I am surprised you didn't win anything.
Did you guys ever expand this game?

The art in this game is really good!!! Some of the different expressions are priceless. I love the shocked merchant faces and the creepy smiles of Mendi.
Dragon Warrior Classic
Man, I am playing through this game right now and I am getting nostalgia overload!! Dragon Warrior on the NES was the first RPG I ever played and this game feels just like it. Flaws and all. :-) You definitely nailed it with this one if you were going for the "feel" of the first NES Dragon Warrior game.
I am about 4 hours in right now. I will write a review for this one once I finish.

Grist of Flies
Just finished the game.
I really enjoyed the battle system. Has a lot of strategy and depth to it and I love how status effects are quite useful and almost essential to beating the boss fights. The ending quotes for battles were a nice touch. :-)
I thought the writing was actually fairly decent, but, so little of it that I never really got into the story. With what little dialog there was though, I found myself enjoying a lot of the characters.
The music in the game was actually pretty rockin too. I loved the battle theme. Is that an indie band you know or something?
I think that the actually map design could of used a little work. The floor tiles looked fine. But, every floor was pretty much just a door, a staircase leading to the surface and a door to the next room with 3 or 4 enemy battles on each floor.
You did a really good job with the game considering you made it up in a few weeks for the contest though. If this game was expanded on, with a little more of a story, more character interaction, and some more dungeons and quests, I could see myself buying a game like that on Steam.

World's Dawn
WOW! I just started this game up and am really impressed.
I am a huge fan of the 2D Harvest Moon games and this seems right up my alley. I might write my first review for this game once I finish it up.

D is for Dungeon
Finally got around to playing the 2.0 version. Treasure drops are a lot better and the Final Boss is not really a pushover anymore. When he gets low in hits watch out!! LOL!
Also, I wonder if anyone has been able to beat Pimp Fandango yet? That guy doesn't mess around. I am going to take him down one of these days!!
