FLYINGJESTER'S PROFILE
I am the Jester.
I make games using JavaScript, C, C++, Mercury, Java, Assembly (amd64 and UltraSparc) and Python. I used to use Sphere a lot, but I'm more into C/C++ and Mercury nowadays. I still use JavaScript and embed it sometimes, and I usually use Python for build systems and system management.
I wrote TurboSphere, which is a recreation of the Sphere Game Engine with a number of major improvements. I'm not really working on it anymore.
I'm surely going to finish making a game someday. I mean, sooner or later, it's bound to happen. Right?

I sometimes forgot how young you guys are
That's the great thing about RPG Maker users. We keep getting older, and they just stay the same age.

I just got past this really frustrating part followed by a long dream sequence... and I FORGOT TO SAVE! Now I have to do it all over again.
Save often, or you'll wish you had.

Don't click on that link in a place where you shouldn't be looking at pictures of frog-men in bikinis, though.
Wait, there are places you shouldn't look at pictures of frogmen in bikinis?

So it sounds like Nintendo has created something between an iPhone 6 and a Samsung Note 7.
Although this is still a lot better than what happened with the XBox 360.

Well, IRC is sort of asynchronous, too. Somewhere in between what most people think of as an IM, and a mailing list. It's relatively common, even on channels with double digit users for a conversation to have an hour or two in between messages.
And if you want more than small talk, don't say "Hi", or ask if you can ask questions. People tend to not expect that, or consider it particularly polite in IRC.

I believe I can defeat the Tidus laugh.
I owned that game. That voice doesn't really get to you, beccause the rest of the game is terrible enough that you don't play it for very long. You also tend to die from running into things fast enough to only hear it once or twice before you explode.

On the topic of lifehacks: I live about 40 miles from the nearest major airport. A taxi ride costs about $150, depending on traffic and the route. But, there is a hotel near where I live that has a courtesy shuttle, and costs around $85 a night.
So, clever life hack:
On the way back from a trip, book a night at the nearby hotel. I save about $60, and I get some free coffee in the morning on the way to work, and even some free soap if I am so inclined.

The DS and the GBA Castlevanias are quite good as well.
Having owned the N64 Castlevania before a bunch of people started thinking it was terrible after watching a video on the internet, I can say that while I really like the cinematic style, it's just not very much fun. The control is very slippery and the stages are not designed very well.
