FLYINGJESTER'S PROFILE
I am the Jester.
I make games using JavaScript, C, C++, Mercury, Java, Assembly (amd64 and UltraSparc) and Python. I used to use Sphere a lot, but I'm more into C/C++ and Mercury nowadays. I still use JavaScript and embed it sometimes, and I usually use Python for build systems and system management.
I wrote TurboSphere, which is a recreation of the Sphere Game Engine with a number of major improvements. I'm not really working on it anymore.
I'm surely going to finish making a game someday. I mean, sooner or later, it's bound to happen. Right?

Unity is evil. Remember that Star Trek: TNG episode about the puzzle game in an occulus rift that was brainwashing everyone? That's what Unity is.

This is an example of the annoying rules about GCC's inline asm (MSVC doesn't need this kind of mollycoddling). If you use a separate assembler, you wouldn't have to do this.
I wanna make a game about a goose and a human police officer that likes to solve mysteries and crack down on crime

GCC's inline assembly is pretty horrific. There are really annoying rules about it. I seriously recommend never using inline assembly (GCC has very annoying rules, MSVC doesn't support it in amd64), just use separate assembly files and either GAS or a different assembler like yasm or nasm.
Who Are Your favorite Youtubers?
Yogscast for the win! They were the first Minecraft players I ever saw on Youtube. I'm a little sad that Simon and Lewis haven't done too many new Minecraft series after Hole Diggers and Deep Space Mine. I mostly watch Duncan and Kim's FluxBuddies now...waiting for Simon and Lewis to do a Minecraft modpack series again...
