Hello from Canada !
The Screenshot Topic Returns
Your avatar makes me laugh when I read that post, Kentona.
As I said previously, Felipe, that is one of the best titlescreens I have ever seen. Even more so now that you got rid of the ugly box and replaced it with something nicer. Bravo.

SSB Crusade Combo Video
This game looked cool when I saw the video showcasing the new pokemon city map thingy. Now it just looks hideously broken and unbalanced. Fox shouldn't be able to use a defensive ability as his bread and butter. Hell, he uses it more often than he stands still. Luigi's spin/charge thing that he is doing, too. Looks dumb imo.

This is an amazing effect for setting tone/mood but not something I would want to see during gameplay time.

I am hugely not a fan of the command window being dead center on the screen. It obstructs your view of the combat area and pulls you right out of the mood. There is a lot of empty space at the bottom (I am guessing that is to make room for 4 party members) but you could also use the sides of the screen (keeping the enemies/heroes offset a bit to make room) or a horizontal bar across the top of the status window.
I do, however, like the name of the active hero above the command window. That is something I haven't seen before.

Super Mario Bros. 2 (USA)

I don't get it. Are we talking about the 1988 nes game? That game is the "one of these things" that's "not like the other" when compared to the one before and after it but it's still pretty similar especially when compared to games outside the series. So it makes me wonder if I'm missing the point and the game in question is some other game...
I mean, why wouldn't it count?
btw. paper mario sucked balls.
you are missing the point
Super Mario Brothers 2 was actually a game called Doki Doki Panic, something completely unrelated. The original Super Mario Brothers 2 is what was later released in the Super Mario All-Stars pack as Lost Levels. They chose not to release Lost Levels state-side and instead re-skinned Doki Doki Panic because Lost Levels was too similar to Super Mario Brothers, and they felt that westerners were not going to be willing to pay full price for an expansion pack.
The reason it is 'up for debate' (it totally isn't. everyone accepts SMB2 as a legitimate entry in the series) is because of this, as well as all of the Non-Canonical things in the game. What people don't realize is that they only don't seem canonical now, compared to SMB and SMB3. Things from SMB2 have shown up more often in new releases than many of the aspects of SMB3. I've definitely seen a floating Peach, Turnips, Shy Guys, and Birdo a hell of a lot more than I have seen a Tanooki or Frog suit on Mario.
Also, I am not sure if the ending of Doki Doki Panic was the same, but they legitimized it by having Mario wake up from a dream after defeating Wart. Similar to Link waking up from the dream after waking the Windfish in Link's Awakening. There were many aspects of Link's Awakening that never made it into another game, because they were all considered to be a dream-world that didn't really exist.

Story vs. Features

Sometimes you don't want people to simply read your story, you want them to see it. In that case, you use a visual medium for your story, such as TV, film, or comics.
And sometimes you don't want people to simply see your story, you want them to be part of it. In that case, you use an interactive medium for your story, such as video games.
This, a thousand times, this.
There is a time and place for all stories, and each medium offers its own unique way of presenting it.
For a bad example, Lord of the Rings was an excellent book series. It translated very well into movies, as well. Yet it does not do well in video games. There are certainly some fun LotR games, but none are good because of their story. Even had it been a unique story (i.e. was a game before a book/movie) I doubt they would have been any good.
Games with a download without a Review
I am going to review these, starting at the most recent and working backwards. I don't know why, I actually generally hate RM games. But I have nothing better to do, and maybe I will find something I like. I'm also not a professional reviewer, or even a good one. But I think that the people who have created these games deserve some sort of numerical representation of their accomplishment.
(completed games only fyi)
Starting with Gunlore (it actually looks neat, I wonder why there is no review yet?)
