It has been a very long time since I have been on this website or hosted any games on it. Last message I left was sometime back in 2011, so obviously I have been on a lengthy hiatus. I apologize, but I am aiming to begin fresh and new with nothing tying me down or back due to what I previously had so all my previous games have been deleted from the site.
I will leave nothing on this website, except for very small things - updates every great once in a blue moon, etc. - and make no promises to anyone.

Chara Request Please -- Info included about them :)
I'm so sorry, I thought I had included that... It is for RMVX. And yes I know face maker is terrible, but when your trying to keep things all custom made and all and trying to not to go searching for hours on end for that one 'specific' chara face that you could just make on your own, face maker is just fine.
These two peeps however, I am desperate to not have made in face maker and dying for it to look really good.
As for the size... Gee... I didn't even think of that... Umm.. The general size I suppose as the first chara in the Actor 1 set, the guy that is in the Chara 1 slot. Maybe just a little bit taller since they are suppose to be a little more inferior to all the others.

Magic and Mana -- To use MP Pot, or not to use MP Pot; which one?

1) You give back MP incredibly fast, or the player always has enough anyway. The player never bothers with waiting.
2) You give back MP slowly enough that the player never bothers with waiting. Maybe this adds up to some noticeable total over the length of an entire dungeon, but the point of making it work on time now seems questionable.
I can see where your going with these, and yes you are right, but that is where a good game can stem from; you would need to have the perfect balance between the two...

3) You give back MP at some medium rate sufficient to get the player to wait for it sometimes. Congratulations! You have managed to get the player to, instead of explore or fight or do something interesting, sit and do nothing every so often.
This one I think came out possibly sounding incorrect when I stated it... You see, what I meant was that -- no, they do not need to just stand still to gain the MP back -- they gained it back no matter what. But the point would have been in the example I referred to earlier was that they would in a sense really only be using .5% with every cast, but the spells would still be moderately powerful, therefore requiring your magic user if you had one to use their spells more then just once or twice. Therefore your sucking up the magic being used, forcing you to think before you act, hopefully... you could gain the MP back constantly, in other words by just walking around (which by reading I have noticed a lot of peeps are doing), by using a form of 'concentrate' system in your game for the magic user to gain their MP back while in combat mode kind of like the guarding system, or just by standing still, either way, you constantly gained the MP back, just at a rather carefully balanced out pace. I like to see it as the magic user relaxed and therefore refueling his energy, odd I know... *shrug* only thing I could think to explain it a little clearer. ;D
In my mind this presents a bit more of a challenge to the player, at least it does to me, but everything is different to everyone else. Which is obviously why I asked the question here, but you make a very good point, DF. :)
Chara Request Please -- Info included about them :)
I am looking for someone that can make the attached image into a Chara set... I am in need of a face set as well, this can be done using the face generator though if no one is able, but I would really like a very good looking face set for this particular person; I as well would like a sorceress made... I would need the face set for her as well... Again, if it can't be done I can just figure something out in the Face Maker. :)
I have provided as much information as I could think that might help out whoever that would like to try and tackle this project for me:
About the Character:
The man is suppose to be the most powerful mage in history, most stating that he was border-line evil and most considered him to be a dark sorcerer. However, he did work mostly for the good guy side, though generally staying to himself. The character ends up getting involved in the greatest war known to their world and must rally the other lower-class mage's to assist him and the armies of their world to defeat the great terror. He and the only female mage that ranked closely the same as him and labeled as a goddess amongst the magic 'users' as they are referred to in present history in the game, are the only magic two sorcerer/sorceress that is able to really stand up with the final heroes in the history to be able to defeat the terror.
Time-line:
I would say that considering the present time in the game has evolved to using stone and very few places use a material they say is rumored to be called 'cuncreet', compared to in the history that is for-told their greatest building material was just barely becoming stone. This is a time frame when Warriors were powerful men that only gained that title by serving under the king of the land and actually risking their lives to save him. Mage's were considered ungodly at those times, magic was still a mystery to them and those that could grasp it were considered to be untouchable by any. Even kings and queens would drop everything and listen to what the magic users had to say no matter what it was. They were intelligent and mostly very quiet beings...
I hope this helps you in being able to design the chara's a little better... I really don't care about their colors, I would prefer the Sorcerer to seem elegant yet something to be feared if rubbed the wrong way and a little dark. The sorceress... Well, I don't honestly care with her, she just needs to look like she basically bursts with Holy magic. :) Sooooo much credit will go to the peeps or person that can do this for me. I will be eternally great-full to him/her! :) <3
(Horribly sorry... I have no way to pay anyone for any of this... DX I'm so so so so so sorry, but your name shall be plastered all over the place as a huge contributor to the game's progress and design. Thank you again!)

yeah i came here because some one told me that the people here are really helpfull. I'm trying to make a sci fi rpg on rm2k3 but with the lack of sci fi and modern day rescources this is becoming really hard. I also have to make a world map of California so you wont see a game from me for a long time.
I have a present for you; I went and did some researching on-line and found this web site that I use to use waaay back before I lost all my RM2k3 data, it is chock-full of stuff for you to use. It almost seems never ending to me at times. :)

Cheering up a friend who is really down.
YDS, I will be frank with you... I have had a friend act like this as well before. Her's was for a rather serious issue (probably just as serious as your friends, no doubt. :). But, the point is, I at first believed her to be annoyed with me and tired of me being her friend, so I called her out on it. She explained what was happening... Even though she wouldn't admit it, I could tell the problems she was having in life was scarring her, and it made me feel like there was nothing I could do.
Only thing I can do is tell you to stay with her, don't try to act all different about the situation just to 'try' and cheer her up; you and her both know already that she's pissed off and the situation in life sounds to be getting her slightly depressed. My best suggestion to you is to just be yourself for her and remind her that your always there no matter what it is that is happening and that at any point in time she can always come to you. She needs to understand that there will always be a shoulder for her to lean on or even cry on if needed.
Now, I am by no means a psychiatrist (Want to be one though), but I do know from my own experiences that truly all that is needed is a lot of time. Try suddenly showing up at her house with some fast-food in hand and tell her you were just thinking about her and thought you would treat her... or something like that. :)

Plenty of people agree that you should have some way to gain your MP/SP back, be it through Pots ( and no, GameOverGames, not the ones those few guys you know are using either:), an Inn system or just walking around. Lets say it was gained through time, what do you think about that?
Example being, the MP is at 0%, but even if you stand still, you gain 2% back every -- I don't know -- let's say 5 sec. You never gain any more MP the higher up in level you go, you just always regenerate it back...
What do you think...?
