There's racism against whites in this thread. Yellow Magic spewing hate for whites for being whites, for example. Mawk saying "it's impossible to be racist against whites."
And we're supposed to put up with it because "privilege" - something we're apparently born with, cannot change, and puts a cage around our opinions and feelings. We as whites are supposed to just shut up, hang our heads in shame, and get out of the way. And those of us who are dissonant are called out publicly and told WE are the ones who hate. Usually by fellow whites who are scared into putting forth a very convincing facade of "tolerance."
It's a ridiculous narrative that more and more people are rejecting. It's a witch hunt. It's revenge for an imaginary infraction. It's censoring and discriminatory.
Wait, strike all that from the record... I just checked my privilege.

Fact 1) Not all ring wingers are nuts
Fact 2) We don't stick up for cops unless they deserve it (darren wilson)
Fact 3) Left wing nuts stick up for guys like Mumia, Che Guevara, and Bill Ayers.

Mike Brown was not a racially motivated crime. It was not a crime at all.

Facts regarding those of you on the left side of the isle:
1) 100% of black people killed by white cops will result in you blaming the white cop for being racist and just hunting blacks.
2) 100% of black people killed by other black people - you will ignore.
3) 100% of white people killed by black people - you will ignore.
4) 100% of black people killed by civilian white people - clearly racist white people hunting blacks.
There's not much point in trying to prove anything when the narrative is so effective and pervasive.

just see this as an opportunity to haze social-justice types.
I'm white straight male able-bodied gamer.
Social justice types are my enemy.

Multiple rounds of forensic analysis concluded that there were no entry wounds in his back. The evidence corroborated Darren Wilson's story.

The two issues shouldn't be related to each other.
Mike Brown committed suicide by cop. Darren Wilson was not indicted and he shouldn't have been. Mike Brown attacked him and tried to grab his gun.
Eric Garner was killed unexpectedly because of an illegal police tactic. The NYPD avoided indictment here but this was a mistake because of a clear infraction. Therefore, it is a mistake to tie the two issues together, because it implies innocence or guilt for both, when the score is actually 1 and 1.
Being white doesn't mean you can grab cops guns and not be killed. Go ahead, try it.
Being black and doing absolutely nothing doesn't mean you'll get in trouble with the law. However, it is pretty easy to see that being black makes you more likely to get in trouble with the law if you're doing something other than absolutely nothing.
Rioting solves nothing and just makes things worse.
