Ok well i had a wonderful idea to play arround with this new program that i found. and it was rpg maker 2003. as i start to look for sprites and stuff to put in i find games at the same time. the first one i found was some game about a chemical spill or something like that. but what caught my attention about this game the most was that they had attacking on the world that you move in. a far cry from the turn based rpg that i thought i was going to make. but the first thing that made me think of was zelda. i wanted to make a zelda game, but have no idea were to start. so i go to the internet. it reminded me of when i was 15 and trying to make websites. so much fun i had back then. well any ways, i found a zelda game on this site. but it was turn based.... not what i was looking for... so i flound this starter pack that was abs. it had minnish grafix and i was like wow.. link blinks!!.. well i made this demo and i had it working. but being the type of person that i am. i messed with the wrong things and now my demo wont work. so i would like if some one could help ne out with this.. i have only been useing this program for about 2 weeks. thank you and sorry about the sentences

Hi i would liketo say that im a 26 year old who has always wanted to make video games.. thats when i found rm2k3.. i was like heck yeah!.so i started to make a game about a dude that gets caught up in a war with the dragon god. so he has to destroy every single dragon in the world.. i did a lot of work on it. but i desided to scrapt after i went looking to see what kind of resorces i could find to put in the game.. i found some sites that claimed to have them but they never quite fit. then i found this site. the first game i got was exile.. and after i saw what the battle system was, and how it compared to my game i was like im not ready.
i mean after all i have only been doing this for 2 weeks at best. so i went to see what all was out there.. mainly on this site. i used to be a web master. and the way i learned was to look at the source page breakit down and play with the coding.. well after looking at say 20 games i have learned alot so my first thing that i am going to do now is to make a great zelda game..now how i have it now is that i am able to have link swing his sword and to take damage. but i have not been able to cause damage.or to cut bushes...now tell me who dont like cutting bushes. i also got loz type menu and a few items you can pick from. just cant use them yet. so when i finnish i will make a 1 dungeon demo and see what happens with it.. will keep you posted.
