Yup. This looks cool indeed. But I know you plan your maps very carefully so that's no surprise. However, that 'wall' where the protagonist is standing on blends a little with the floor below. Hopefully you'll find a way to fix it. =P

About the bars or gauges, whatever, I meant to center them inside that box; they are all the way to the left now. About the 'Exit' box, a background color change doesn't sound too bad to me, but I'd really advice you against the border color change; it looks odd. But hey, is your game.

But anyways, this game looks fantastic! Besides a few quirks like what NewBlack mentions, the level design and the attention to detail of this game seems impeccable. And judging by the trailer alone is evident that is not going to be a boring experience at all, at least in terms of gameplay. I just hope that the story and everything else is just as engaging. But for the time being... Suuubbed!

Nitpicking time! The word 'Stats' should be aligned to the left like the rest of the other sections names; The bars should be the ones centered, and perhaps be made a bit more simple looking. The 'Exit' box is probably too big for that one word only, and should have a blue border like the whole thing.

I liked the other banner more, you know, with a picture of the place in the background. I think you should keep them all like that for consistency's sake.

Best games for PS2?

Suikoden V. I've actually never played this, but I love Suikoden 1/2 and I hear this one is better than the other Suikoden games for the PS2.
Excuuuuse me? ...Well, I guess generally speaking that would be true. But I still like my Suikoden III more. I like them all thou' even IV. =P

Yeah, you shouldn't use the same font for the options as in the title. But you shouldn't use the one for you name either. Use a serifed one instead

@Mitsuhide: Not bad, the banner at the top with the city as the backgrond is a very cool touch. Maybe the size of the font is too big, but if you don't plan to have long names in your game I guess it's ok. What I really think can be greatly improved, though, is the mapping. The shapes of the landmasses are too straight and squarey, they should look more "natural" if you know what I mean
@Little Wing Guy: Both maps look good already, but in the first one, why don't you try to place the outer wall further away from the houses? I don't quite like how the it takes the shape of such small a town, it feels kind of cramped to me. And in the second, the only thing that really bothers me are the copypasted houses. But maybe I'd also take out most of the tall grass. It's too bright. xP
@Cray: That looks sweet! I like the color scheme of the underworld version of the town, it's pretty wacky. I see you added a few bones here and there but I think the differences should be more drastic, how about spiderwebs, blood, fires, cracks on the houses, etc? I noticed as well that the rocks and flowers stayed the same but they should change too, or perhaps disappear completely.
