Just needed to vent...

I came to this board to rant as well but I might as well just invade this topic. I made this account a bit over year ago now and I haven't posted nearly as much BS as I wanted to (my goal in creating this account). Oh well, maybe I'll get more done this year.

With regard to your issue, it isn't really just your issue. It is known as a quarter life crisis which plenty of young folk go through. A person might try to dismiss it as #FirstWorldProblems but as you said you can't change how you feel. So the key is to avoid feeling that way in the first place.

An important thing to note first of all is that those people you saw on Facebook and had runs-ins with are not infallible. They are dealing with their own insecurities and demons as well, but of course people don't let that show. Rather they just smile and press on. I'm sure when you were speaking with your ex(s) you gave them the best impression possible and that everything in life is going your way, when in reality your just dying inside. They may very well feel as you do.

But if you feel that negative energy brewing just put it out of your mind, forcibly. Instead engage in whatever your favorite hobby is, or work out. You'll manage for sure though, once you got a career going you'll be able to travel and really let your wings stretch. If it makes you feel better, I myself probably won't even have my BA when I'm your age, I have no friend ex or otherwise to speak of, and next to nothing in my accumulated years of life to show for. Yet this is something I'm okay with. Everything is a matter of perspective. Hope this helps!

Florence.

I read your FAQ and ended up here. Mah nigga. Will have to play this at some point. And you're right the indie dev title is pretentious. Then again, actually finishing something is quite feat here, lawls.

Leo & Leah: A Love Story

I beat Seiken Densetsu 3 recently, so when I came across "Daisy" I was quite surprised, hah. Was wondering where that strange sprite came from...

What the hell did you smoke to give it 4.5 stars? X,-DD

My thoughts exactly, haha. A jolly bout of silliness nonetheless.

Leo & Leah: A Love Story

Pretty enjoyable game ya got here, I especially liked how surreal the ending portion of the game suddenly became! Buuuut....I had the game crash on me so often that I was always leery of when the next error would pop up and had to constantly save ;[

Hi there

Hey Lianna! I've seen this sort of stuff done on video game consoles and if executed right it really gives the game world an epic quality to it.

Are you familiar with the Super Nintendo games Rudra no Hihou and Live A Live? Both these games were released only in japan and can only be played in english through the computer, but as it turns out they happen to follow that structure of playing through an individual character's story and in the end they unite to fight a grander conflict.

Another instance of this I can think of would be Wild Arms on PlayStation 1.

Mother 3 on the Game Boy Advance fits in as well, and Earthbound plus Final Fantasy 6 to a lesser degree.

I'm sure I am missing some other games that do this, but the point is you might want to play these games if you haven't already to garner some inspiration for your own game! (plus they are great games anyway)

Ah I almost forgot Kentona's Hero's Realm, duh~!

By the way how could you have no free time during this time of year?! You poor soul Dx

I Have Great Aspirations.

Ah yes, Dudesoft I was first introduced to your work when I played Action 52 RMN edition and happened upon The Quest of Dude II: The Incredible Quest. I was so taken by quirks of BOSSes, oddly named spells, and the charismatic Kyle McGuyver that I simply had to play the rest of the series (Was I the only person strangely aroused by the water elemental chick?! YOOW! or was she wind?? o_o my brain erased that overwhelmingly important piece of information).

Haven't played any of the Take Down games other than Take Down: Narwhal of Doom but I think they may be floating around on my backlog of games....somewhere.........adrift........

I Have Great Aspirations.

they do not entail creating games, no, for I am a consumer of games. the of which i have pertains to comments for you see I am to become a prolific commentator on an assortment of pages. why i recall when I was a little boy I had seen Max Magee's Everything Turns Gray, and quite naturally my initial thought was "wat Everything Turns Gay? lol lemme say dat :)"

However, as it would turn out, others had already shared this observation, that is, the similarity between gay and gray much to Mr. Magee's dismay, ho ho! BUT THAT IS NEITHER HERE NOR THERE, point being is such enlightening commentary of mine in this haven of gaming has been missing out on for far too long. But I will correct that as of today! One may fully expect of me from this point onwards, brief inane comments. U r welcome :0 :)
