Well yes, most time but not always, Also I was just saying I didn't a event lending into the forest.

No events are in place for the areas yet.

There's a chocobo forest RIGHT there, though. Not exactly hard to figure out how to get around. At least make the player have to explore a bit instead of "land airship next to forest, mount chocobo, run around shallows."

There are two in the picture. I'm thinking of getting rid of the one that's further north and making more rocky shallows leading up to the northern parts. There's a third forest a little further south that I forgot was even there so heck, I may even just use that one.

Since I couldn't fit this in the description above...

This area will also be home to monsters that are attracted to chocobos and view them as prey. You will not meet the specific monster type when you are on foot, but when you are riding a chocobo you will have a good chance of meeting the monsters in the large forest in the picture above.

The small remote town on the northwest peninsula will have NPCs that will offer tips regarding the dungeons and chocobo-eating monsters in the area.

I have events along the border of the lakes because chocobos are allowed to cross the shallow rivers but, if the water opens up into a larger body, the chocobo can't cross.

Rivers = Yes
Lakes = No

Homosexuality and the workplace

No discrimination in my field of work. I don't think anyone cares.

I've met quite a few gay security guards. I remember one who made a habit of reminding me that he liked guys. I was afraid that he was trying to imply something so I avoided him until he was fired (for being an idiot who broke rules).

How cliched is Blackmoon Prophecy? Well...

The only thing it was missing was the ancient's old tower that you worked so hard to getting to the top to so as to find that secret powerful cure that would heal so and so in town or your dying lover or best friend

Ha, Blackmoon Prophecy has this too.

I've seen that list before. A lot of the stuff on there is stuff that you shouldn't be afraid to include in your game anyway. I got 21. ;P

Oh, I totally agree with you. To be honest, I actually expected to have a higher number than 79 due to the nature of my game!

It's not too dark for me at the moment, and I'm on my work computer that has a fairly dark monitor.

Looks good, I find.

The guy on the left?

Final party in Final Fantasy IV

I've only beaten the FF4 version, so it is obviously Cecil, Rosa, Kain, Rydia, and Edge or me.

I love that team so much that I may keep it again when I reach Zeromus in the PSP version.

The RPG Checklist

- The guy who you think will be the final villain is always controlled/killed by a more evil villain who won't reveal their true nature until at least 50% of the way through the game (usually known as the "Final Fantasy rule.")

- The main character always has a shadowy past that is never touched upon until late in the game when they learn that their parent(s) was/were important, that they are the chosen one, or that they aren't human.
