They are both 36 kilobytes. They both have the same instruments. They both have the same track order and sequencing. SpadesofDarkness merely changed the filename. It is already clear your entry is invalid and against the rules--my issue is with the intellectual dishonesty exhibited by SpadesofDarkness.
Give me some proof.

This needs to be in the main post also, because I had to ask around in IRC to find out. Reading eight pages of replies shouldn't be a prerequisite to participate.

It doesn't say anything about composing a remix of an already existing BGM. The rules only say it has to be original. And it's original because it doesn't use instruments from the actual game.

RPG Maker VX Ace
If this is the 2003 of VX then we should be able to convert VX projects to VXAce projects. After all, Ruby 1.9 should just be able to handle VX scripts, but iron's out the glitches present in the VX scripts.
