Want A Video Review Of YOUR Game?
Alright, I'll add both to the queue and start on them Monday when I get back from Kitacon. First come first served seems fairest way to do the order.
I collect dreams.
I know that I do dream, sort of a sensation I get in the morning that says "Yeah, you had a dream last night" (and no, that 'sensation' is not morning wood) and when I ask my brain "Really? I don't remember. What did I dream about?" I just get the reply "Damned if I know."
Length of games, number of characters, and various other things!
I've got to agree with several of the above posters. Short games can be really good for you. Hell, one of my games, Fenrir, can be beaten in 2 hours by some, and games I've made for contest entries (Beyond the Gate for example) are also rather short, and it's good practice.
28 characters sounds like too many. Not just for you, but for the player. In most games, I like to have my core team of 3 or 4 characters, and I rarely switch. I hate when games force me to use the characters that don't form that core, because unless EXP is shared, they're underlevelled and I don't use them because I don't like them! It also causes issues in making sure there are no throw away characters or a character for the sake of a character. It's going to be alot harder for a player to care about 28 people all at once. Hell, I don't even keep that many friends because it's impractical IRL, nevermind virtually.
It also poses the question of how you'll balance all of these characters and ensure there aren't any duplicates, anyone who's essentially performing the same tole, and it also begs the question of how the player is supposed to pick the right team for each situation when they won't know these 28 as intimately and thoroughly as say, a group of 9.

Does This Sound Too Ambitious?
There's a game I intend on making once I purchase VX Ace, working title Reasons. I've been knocking up the base ideas of what I want to do at the moment and I wanted to get your opinions on whether it just plain sounds too lofty.
The following docs are images because I like to actually write stuff out as opposed to typing it.

EDIT: Some additional information I forgot to include
- It is a time of war.
- The war is against another sentient race.

Looking Back: Hero's Realm
=O Someone implied RPG Maker is not a "legitimate engine" and there's no flame wars in the comments!
Could it be? Have we finally evolved?!

Want A Video Review Of YOUR Game?
Hey guys, as I'm sure you all know, I do video reviews of modern and retro games over at my YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/afr0blu3 . I thought it would be nice to review some games from this community too.
I promise to be open, honest, and fair. I wouldn't be reviewing games "for teh lulz" and I'd look to provide constructive feedback.
If you want in, post a reply with a link to the game page. To start with I'm talking specifically RPG Maker 2003, XP, VX or VX Ace games.
Completed Reviews
Queued Reviews
Forever's End
Blackmoon Prophecy
Touhou Fantasy
Asylum of Pain and Pleasure
Stonesearch
Wooby RPG: Legend of the Woob Blocks
After Man
Final Dragon Legacy
EDIT: Please, no more submissions for now, this is more than enough of a backlog! =)

People complaining about a half ass / bad review
I think me and Asalieri need to start up our review podcast thing again but in video form this time. Reviews without the scores (and hopefully with more structure this time too).
I'm usually very British and polite, and Eric's usually very American and blunt. We kind of even out when we're discussing a game.

Secret content: How hidden is too hidden?
That's actually a really good example! (One day I should go back and beat FFXII, if I got through XIII and XIII-2 I can do XII!)
I prefer it when NPCs or books littering the landscape hint at extra bosses or dungeons. Perhaps a legend that you keep hearing about and can piece together over the course of the game.
Suddenly being in a dungeon and thinking "Wait, this is on a mountain top, there is a well here - I wonder if there are three bells hidden here too!"
