Something happened to me last night when I was driving home. I had a couple of miles to go. I looked up and saw a glowing orange object in the sky. It was moving irregularly. Suddenly, there was intense light all around. And when I came to, I was home.

What do you think happened to me?

Nice! You might want to go with a more recent render of him, though, since that's of his older character design that wasn't used in the final game.

There's a pretty good high res one ( http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/finalfantasy/images/b/bf/Noctis_Red.PNG/revision/latest?cb=20130611220540 ) that's used in the UI for the game itself.

One thing I find strange is the smoothness of the gradients in the meters as compared to the very pixellated look of the sprites and font. I think it would look more consistent if the meters had a flat color.

The shadows cast by the sun should be much sharper. In general, sun shadows, especially long ones like those, are very crisp and well-defined. For instance:

Sunlight in Orka is a rare sight, so enjoy it when you can. Just try not to get frostbite.

The Tamillan Highlands is located southwest of the city of Acacia. Several key trade routes run through it, one of which Dakura’s company will follow on their journey south from Viadahn. As it connects Acacia to Ghallice, the Dysian Empire, and the rest of the Orkan domain, the highlands will be a frequently-visited area that functions as the game’s overworld.

Thanks much! I'm still tweaking the lighting a lot. It's quite difficult lighting a place entirely with candles and getting it to not be too dim.
