@Plum_child - I just noticed you haven't yet clicked the Submit button on the event yet. To enter your characters I'm pretty sure you need to do that. Just wanted to mention so that you can be officially in the event. :D

Welp I turned Spikey into a Temple :P
Feel free to use him as part of a tile set. I'm pretty sure I sized his doorway so that the average RPG maker character sprite can fit in it.
Some inspiration came from good old Quetzalcoatl a god from ancient Mesoamerica ... but you know Spikier lol
@Plum_child - Very nice I like your Oo-oh's design, the double mask is a great idea.
@Chenbaiwan - your reclining Buddha style Ymnv is very mystical good stuff.
@Unity - That Roar Dragon is intense! Puttin the eyes on it's horns is a neat idea and I like that you incorporated the ghosts.
@Aquatorrent - No problem those sprites of yours definetly feel like they could be turned into plush toys :3
Also, thanks I didn't mention this before but Monstery did have a wee bit of cultural influence as well, I was looking at Oceanic masks and Dogon masks right before I made him. But essentially the idea was lets make Monstery into a mask.
@Mr.Chearlie - that comic reminds me of kids havin imaginary friends. I never had one when I was a kid. Did anyone here have one?

Neat it would be cool to see Hyrule have holidays. The first handful of Zelda games did actually have some Christian imagery but they eventually removed it and made the Triforce into a religion instead. Which I think was a good choice for better world building. This is an actual concept art for Link to the Past

@PsiSteve - I like how the single down pointed horn is balanced by the upright tail.
@Aquatorrent - They're adorable I love them. My favorites of the ones you made would be Big Pig, Spikey, and Roar Dragon.
@Suzy - you really have a great grasp of that old school cartoon aesthetic! I love it. Rounder's and Spikey's expressions are a joy to look at. And Monstery looking whale-like is a great idea.

author=Link_2112Nice! I've actually been thinking for a while now that a Twillight Zone game would be really good. I tend to get very busy but if I have time I may be able to help you on that. Feel free to send me a private message about what you might need for the project.
haha Perfect! Because it's going to be a game based on the original series. If you are interested I could probably use a few other images in a similar style. It's a back-burner idea though since I'm focusing on Trek.
@Chenbaiwan - Lots of great expressions on your characters faces :)
@zDS - I like the addition of the sword that was thrusted into Fireblock give the character some history.
