Um question, the buttons on the cardinal cove in the past seem not to work when I press them in order... er is that a glitch or am I doing something wrong? Er this is also the final update version
Make sure you only press each button once - when your lead character runs onto it, back away to be safe. If you are having trouble with the order you can always double-check the walkthrough FAQ, I remember having to do that part 2 or 3 times in my first playthrough as I made a mistake and ran over the button again in a couple of cases, which seems to trip up the order.

Orias: major, major props to you for making a game I can only describe as a sleeper powerhouse. When I started playing it I purposely did not read all the FAQs and posts as to not spoil the experience, so the game seemed like a simple DW series clone, but when I started getting farther into the game, I discovered the immense depth and 'twinkability' of the game. I spent a huge amount of time doing things like Alchemy, breeding, and farming NMs for unique treasure.
I had gotten as far as the Persiva region with almost every achievement possible, when I realized that:

I could not breed Ghostbane as I chose "don't like company" at the beginning and was short-sighted enough to have chosen Deadnite instead of Pyuro as I felt he was stronger at that time. I restarted my game strictly because I could not stand the idea that I would not be able to breed this godly creature of enemy-slaying joy. I am 99.9% certain I now have the formula for Ghostbane (I am so nerdy I even made myself an Excel spreadsheet showing the breeding combos). What unlocked it for me was when I saw the post that said that you must have the Azul Slime and Pyuro - I noticed that Pyuro shows as a named parent for only one monster on the FAQ!
All I have to do is get to the point in my new game when I have all the monsters to find out if I am right. Can't wait!
