Just so you guys know, he gave up RPG Maker. He's now working on a Mega Man X fangame in Flash which plays pretty much just like the SNES ones. It's shaping up to be pretty awesome looking!

Personally, I just ignore the scores given and look at what's said. Cause I mean, unless you say what standard you're comparing by to give these scores, it's actually very meaningless!
Like, you could be getting 4/10 on graphics because they were being judged in relation to Crysis or something.

Making a game in RPG Maker 2003 is really really counter-productive. It is so limiting. It is such a pain in the ass to make a game with the program. It is a waste of time.
Yeah, I think I regret starting out with RM2k3, or at least having the work ethic to adhere to it until I finish my projects. I mean, I've learnt a lot from working with it, and it saves me a lot of work in certain regards (though still making a lot more in others), but I would probably be able to do a lot more in something like Game Maker or MMF.
But seriously,
I don't care how something is made if the end product is good.
This is really all that matters.
Alter A.I.L.A Genesis is so much better than 95% of the XP/VX games!
