2026 Misao nomination monthly data
Getting games made during 2024, but before the Fall, to be nominated again this year might be trickier than games made after the Fall. By all accounts, Liberty closed the 2024 nomination period, and opened the 2026 nomination period. Which, yeah, is a bit of a feelbad, because in 2024, RMN barely lasted the first quarter before the Fall. ;_;

Commercial games can't be nominated (unsure if this is a thing that is being looked at, or even considered), and I didn't double-check to see if "The kentona Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Commercial Excellence" was on the list this year. That said, the other gamepages currently listed do have the nominate button enabled, and if I want to be frank, I'm totally okay with allowing games made during the Fall (ie: when the site was down) to make up for it?

It's Like Coming Home
Yes, our site is num-ber one
it's a joy for every-one!
Have you heard the blat about the saaaaaaaaaaaave point?
The world is healing, one gamepage at a time
I'm definitely touched that my game has front page spotlight exposure. It might still be a while before I can post a significant enough update to it, but, even if it weren't for that spotlight, it's just so joyful to see the site up and so active again.
Hello Mr. Anderson
Marrend plays Final Fantasy 7 Remake!
Oh, yeah, "Bow Wow Wow" was super cute. I was on board for a "follow the dog!" quest twice, though. The third time, I just rolled my eyes, though still thankful I could hear the track used in-game again.
I was okay with Queen's Blood for the first three games, or so. Which might've held my interest longer than Triple Triad or Tetra Master had! So, I'll give credit where it's due. I experienced the Fort Condor mini-game through Rebirth before engaging with it in Interlude, and I kinda dig the blocky graphical throwback they did for it? I get there might be balancing issues if players were able to spawn units with money alone. For one, I don't think money is as plentiful in Rebirth as it could be in FF7.Or, maybe I'm just used to turning on the CodeBreaker when I need money. Secondly, having units have an ATB cost instead gave it a bit of challenge. Though, there were certainly times when I would appreciate the ATB gauge to fill a little faster.
I've a similar complaint to Gambits and Gears. That said, I do appreciate that they brought back the Gambit system from FF12. Maybe it's the context of "these are robots, and you have to set their programs", but, it just felt more correct to have it there than it ever did in FF12?
I was okay-ish with the piano? If it was limited to one dialog stick, I'd probably be better at it, but, no, you use both sticks for it.

RMN Stable v: Bug Reports
I can at least confirm that non-commercial submissions seem to work. I counted 11 new gamepages with one on the queue, and that was sometime yesterday.
Uploading files to lockers also seems to check out. I uploaded maybe up to three files at a time, just to be safe. However, you can see the result in this postwith the bonus of getting traffic to my Xenosaga Episode 3 LP.
*Edit: I think it might be possible for a moderator to change user names? However, to err on the side ofkeeping my job, or at least not wanting to break anything caution, the task has generally fallen under kentona's auspices.
*Edit 2 - Electric Boogaloo: Deleting PMs seems to work! Pruned out all the reports sent to me previous to the Fall, plus whatever I had sent out.

I suppose there is some sense in resetting affection values. Though, I would appreciate something a bit more than a summon (or three, or whatever) if I have the trilogy?
Gongaga's kicked my ass, absolutely.
*Edit: I also could not help by to cry at/during "No Promises to Keep".
It took me a bit off-guard, because I had the game on the Japanese dub through the entire run, so, I naturally expected to hear Japanese lyrics, rather than English ones?

Also the music is so fucking good.
