Weird and Unfortunate Things are Happening Review
Yeah, the exploration was super fun, especially in the final few levels. I just never knew what to expect, and the addition of finding loot made it consistently rewarding. This game really deserves all the praise it's getting.
Oh, and my next game is going to be fucking sick. Going to be a million years before it's out, but I'm excited about it!

Weird and Unfortunate Things are Happening Review
Yeah, I enjoyed this game so much. I think that you hit the nail on the head in your penultimate paragraph. Weird and Unfortunate really resonated with me as being a solid fusion of Yume Nikki-style abstract world exploration with rpg mechanics. Really felt like I didn't know what I'd see next, which, for me, is the heart of most good rpgs--the thrill and wonder of exploration.

Looks pretty cool! I'm so far into development for my next game, though, that I don't really have time to collaborate on smaller projects. I wish I did, though. I miss making shorter games.

Dark Demon is one of the game's hardest bosses, so I wouldn't try him until your party is super tricked out. Having an interrupter that is very fast due to either Perpetual Motion Device or Rad Sneakers is very helpful, especially if they also have Psyche when you're in a pinch, and they can be an item slave as well. Helga with Doctor's Bag should be good for healing. Jimmy should mainly focus on damage, but you should swap him out for additional healing if you need it. There are also a lot of really good pieces of equipment in the Dark Dungeon, so getting those if you don't already have them is a big help.

Neat; I went ahead and reenabled the section. I'm going to leave it open to be posted in, but Mint's going to hold off on answering questions because she's busy helping me work on another game.
