AMOONLESSNIGHT'S PROFILE
AMoonlessNight

Hi all, I'm A-Moonless-Night, but you can call me Shannyn.
The name 'A Moonless Night' comes from the title of a story my cousin and I wrote together when we were about fifteen. It was about two cousins getting lost in the woods on the night of a full moon. Werewolf shenanigans ensued. No idea where an actual moonless night factored into the equation though. Well, the name stuck and it has been my username for every website I've frequented for the last five or six years.
About me? Well, I'm from little old Godzone in the southern hemisphere. I love reading and writing, with a particular love for Stephen King novels and poetry. I'm an avid proofreader - seriously, I love it. I foam at the mouth about it.
I don't like MMORPGs or first-person shooters. I particularly love platformers (especially Metroidvanias), RPGs, action games and point-and-click adventures. Some of my favourite games include Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap, the Tenchu series, Suikoden I and II, the Chzo Mythos (aka the John Defoe Quadrilogy), Minecraft, Age Of Empires, An Untitled Story and the Pokemon series.

Theres another rule in this game that wasnt mentioned anywhere: You lose when there's only 3 people left (including yourself) or something like that.
Pretty sure it mentions that in the rules (at the start and in the menu)? I'll have a look through and double-check when I get time.
Oops, I totally forgot about the excel file, haha. I made that up at the start when I was trying to figure out how to randomise everything. Glad you like it, though!
Going, Going, Gone
I've been mulling over this for the last week, and I think I know what I want to say (which is pretty much what everyone else has said). Like you said, you can always come back with fresh eyes in a year's time or something. Sometimes it's best to take a step back and work on other things that you enjoy; you don't want things to become a chore.

The floor underneath the bed reminds me of blocks of chocolate. There's something about it that clashes with the rest of the tiles; I guess because you've little details in the other wooden pieces, but not that tile.

Because of Chemical X. Haha, um, not sure ... probably because I parallax map? Some of this stuff is from Celianna as well.
Knight in Sour Armour
So sorry to hear about your cat. :( *hugs* And your game file. Do you have a tech-savvy friend that could help you?
One thing you might find helpful for the portraits is studying anatomy—there's some good tutorials on Deviantart. But for example, Tristy's shoulders are three heads wide, which makes her look like an adult, whereas Lance and Ianna have only two, maybe two-and-a-half, which makes them look like children (their larger eyes only add to that, too). What I do when that happens is I just stretch the portrait until the main parts are the correct size, and then I draw over it and redo it.
I love Tristy's new portrait, by the way. She always looks badass.

Black and Ethnic Face-sets Kickstarter has launched!
I'll be pledging on Thursday, since that's payday, but I'm very excited! I've been trying to boost this by posting it on my Tumblr too, heh heh.
100K mark and 155+ subber update
Man, you're such a hard worker and it shows! Loving the new look for the game, and hope you don't get too overwhelmed with all the sprite work. <3 Like Emmych said, having a bunch of different clothes/hair/etc. for your sprite bases would make things a lot easier, even if you had different body types.
Just wanted to point out that it looks like there's a little issue with the rocky cliff tiles in the bottom screenshot; it looks like it's repeating weirdly at the bottom. I'm talking about the round cliff to the right of the tree (hope that makes sense!)

Tristy_Expressions
Yeah, I agree with Joseph Seraph there. There's a lot more expression that you can do by changing the whole face, rather than a few pixels. At the moment all of her faces look the same. I would also add that the face itself should change with some expressions, such as when her mouth is open, etc.
