New update coming soon!

Hi there party pals!

Sorry for the lack of updates, but Party 3! is still in the works, but in the meantime I’ve been cooking up an update for Party 2!

The update will include some new secret endings (Non-mandatory) as well as some bug fixes and whatnot.

This will also modify some endings and tend to some complaints!

If you guys have any suggestions as to what more I should add, feel free to tell me!

A guide to how to get out of virus warnings

Hiya my party pals!

If you are here, chances are you're curious about your computer screaming to high heaven about how "PARTY 2 IS A VIRUUUUUSSSS"

Well, let me tell you one thing, it's not. Party 2! has the ability to create files and delete those files. That's it. It can not touch any of your personal files.

Needless to say, your computer sees the game deleting self contained files, and thinks it has plans to delete important files on your computer.

In some cases, your antivirus will simply warn you, and ask if you want to delete the program or ignore it, which is harmless, but annoying if it asks multiple times.

In other cases, it will force you to delete the game, which is detrimental to the enjoyment of the game.

So here is a small guide to bypass these problems:

Disabling your antivirus
Most are (reasonably) hesitant to do this, but as long as you immediately re-enable it after you are done. This can be tiresome though, if you play it on many separate occasions

Whitelisting all the game files
This one is a bit more tedious, but it cuts out making yourself temporarily vulnerable as well as making it so you don't have to disable and re-enable every time. Simply whitelist all of the files in the main directory of the game, then play the game!

Hope this helps, a new update is coming out soon due to recent criticisms!

Miscellaneous

About viruses.

Sigh

So recently there has been some talk about this game being malicious.

First of all, this game can't and won't ever harm your computer or personal files.

Party 2! Has the ability to create and delete text files that the game itself creates, it has no capability to do anything else to your computer.

You may poke and prod and dissect all of the files of Party 2! and you will find no harmful content, anywhere.

Since the page's creation I have had a warning on the page (Now in big letters) that anti-virus might detect the program as malicious, this is not the case.

I strongly advise any reviewer who gave the game a bad score for detection to temporarily de-activate their ant-virus and-or put the game on a whitelist and attempt to play the game again.

It deeply saddens me that a game I worked so hard on is being wrongly percieved as a virus.

Thank you all for reading

Party 3! Formal announcement/teaser!

You all asked for it, now I'm making it!

Request

A bit of an odd situation.

When you first saw this game, what did you see?

Was it the pastel colors?

The birthday cake?

Or the two star rating?

What did you see when you looked closer?

Comments, praising the game.

This is quite the predicament.

When first released, Party 2! was praised by commenters, but no reviewer felt like trying it out. So I ended up contacting a few reviewers, and the first review to get published was by Marrend (No hate against him, this is about the rating system)

Marrend encountered a part of the game that he disliked immensely, to the point of not playing further, and gave it two stars exactly. I was a bit upset, but remedied the situation by updating the game, removing the parts he disliked.

Now the two star rating still stands, as he was the only reviewer to rate it (The other has yet to complete the game, but will edit it soon), so I encourage you all, if you feel the game deserves a review, please review it!

Thanks again!

A request.

Hello people of the RMN community!

I've been getting very kind comments about my game, some with slight criticisms, but I have yet to get a full review/feedback.

So this is my request, if anyone would be so kind enough to give my game a shot and give a clear and concise review, I'd be very happy! I would also be willing to review your games, as a thanks!

Thank you!
