Bug patch applied!

Thanks to cashmerecat's streaming efforts, I was able to locate and squash a couple of bugs that were still lurking in this game. It should not only be repaired, but there is also an added note regarding the main character's identity.

You see, this game was made about 5 years before I realized I was nonbinary, but was most likely a factor in helping me cope with things. Shortly after I came out to my friends, a dear friend of mine played my game and offered her insight. It seemed important to make "Seth" also nonbinary, to help me on my path, and give me an outlet to work with in that regard. they work through this in later games.
Their alias is now "Rise", though they can be referred to as "alpha seth" in a past context.
I hope you all understand. Thank you.

Testing stuff (continued)

Demo 1.2.1 is up for testers, however there is currently only one who had decided to undertake this task so far.
As it stands, the main story is virtually clear of bugs, aside from minor complaints and needed embellishments. The epilogue itself is what is in the most need for bugtesting.
If you have an ending code from the content folder after playing through the game, it can be used to access the epilogue in 1.2.1, no matter which ending or version you got it from. Those that have played through the original release would be preferred for bug-testing in this case, as they will be able to skip to the epilogue much faster.
Please inquire via PM here or on discord if you are interested. Thank you.

Testing opportunity

It's been a while, hasn't it?
Well, I'm glad to say that Schrodinger's Epilogue is pretty much finished! Only thing is, I need some playtesters to make sure I've squashed all the bugs.

Please inquire if you are willing to playtest, version 1.2.1 will be up as a test build some time this week. Thank you.

Schrodinger's Epilogue

Hey guys! I've been working a fair amount on some content for an epilogue section.

In this, you'll be playing as a blue seth whos origins are best known to those who have played up to where he appears in the main game.

After Alpha goes home or whatever (this makes more sense if you've reached the credits), what happens to the other seths left behind?

In this section, you should be able to go around to nearly all the previously visited locations (and more!) without restriction. There is however a catch: because this is a dead seth, he cannot heal himself naturally. Also, he cannot gain exp due to not being in close vicinity to a living party member.
Needless to say, if you though life sucked, death is definitely harder!
However though, Game Over's are much harder to come by, as average defeats just boot you out of battle with 1 Energy, so it evens out a bit.

Places that should be available for exploration:
-Seth's Clocktower
--Floors 1-3
--A few new floors?
-Land of REDACTED and DATA EXPUNGED (the forest area)
-Skaian Magicant shortcut
-Blue Hole
-EXTENDED MAGICANT???
-Egg temple
-Prospit
-Derse

Currently, much of the work is being done on the tilesets for extended Magicant and the Prospit library. With this game's 1 year anniversary coming up fast, I'd like to get something pushed out before Halloween. No promises though.

Are there any places/memories that any of you think would be appropriate to explore in addition to these?
Please let me know in the comments and if it fits it might just show up! (Do note that it needs to fit somewhere within the pre-defined SBARG/SBURB canon to show up. Difficult areas likely won't show up due to constraints but perhaps some things can be arranged.)

Ask Thanatos! (and other news)

I've written a fun little section ran by our favorite dead trick-or-treater with a handful of background information. For those that are not familiar with the way doomed timeclones work, he explains that too.

(If I'm doing this wrong, please tell me, I'm not exactly used to the layout of this kinda stuff and wasn't sure exactly where to put supplementary information, let alone when it's explained in-character)

In other news though, I'm currently working on content for an epilogue section, where travel between locations will be freely allowed and not blocked by plot obligation. Hopefully I don't wind up getting stuck in feature-creep. I did however fix a handful of bugs and added some useful things as well.
Here's a preview pic of one of the new areas:
