Looking Back: Devil Hunter Seeker of Power

Oh man Final Fantasy Empires. I remember absolutely LOVING that game and wishing the Final Fantasy fangame I had in my head could look half as good. ... yes FF5 style sprites are good to me, shush. :P

And for some reason, I keep confusing Devil Hunter with Demon's Legacy. Might be the palette of the main character in both...

Looking Back: Wilfred the Hero

Wilfred the Hero was surprisingly deep now that I look back on it.

And Sunset Over Imdahl remains one of my absolute favorite RM games of all time. So poignant, so pretty, so very moving.

Equipment Triggered Skills

... or you could make it so that a certain skill is a certain Weapon element and make that weapon that Weapon element. Only lets you use the skill if you have a weapon with THAT specific Weapon element.

A lot easier, I think. ;D

How to make FF4 Dark Wave command.

... that seems kind of counter-productive to have a command with a skill with the same name under it unless you were going to have other types of "Dark Wave" skills. It would be easier (if you wanted it single target) to make the command an "Attack" command, but made it so that when the player uses it, it does the event (I believe you'd have to temporarily stun the character to stop them from actually attacking, but I'd have to double-check that).

Also, you can't have two elses to one conditional. You'd have to do multiple conditional branches if you had more than two targets.

Battlers in RM2k3.

How exactly would this work with the Row command??It seems to me that it would throw the whole thing completely off.?And it can't be removed from the battle command list either.

Setting a Password - Tutorial for Beginners

So this is pretty much just using a map event to make a front-end menu system.

PROTIP: Front-ends suck, plus this could be better accomplished with a common event.

Useful, though, if you want something specific on one map only, such as for a puzzle. There's at least that rectifying factor.
