very cool concept. I really liked the demo, but I think the visuals of the first hotel place are a little monotonous. the characters are great though, they're my favorite part. excited for the rest of the game :))))

thank you! i don't exactly know how to respond to the comment about monotonousness, though. i'm not offended by it, i just feel almost like the monotony might be... intended? almost as a bit of a 'normal' setpiece for 'abnormal' things to happen on top of that. but who knows! as the first hotel, it might just be a result of the 'tutorial' nature of the level.

that's true, subverting expectations for a while then the wacky stuff is more surprising/unexpected
