What version do you have? Also what is your level by any chance? And to be honest I mash attack all the time against these snakes so I'm really confused on how you died there.

The revival herb is supposed to revive you for 40% (unless I forgot to update the description then derp)
And v3++ is the version where all the battles are well balanced

Unless the snakes are guarding (which recovers a tiny amt of HP) then it wouldn't die in just 4 turns. They're pretty beefy for lvl 1 characters. If this was the case, run like hell if you think you can't take them on yet. (In short, they're the higher level opponents that you should evade in an mmorpg)

Meh. Enemies are annoying to me. I avoid them as much as possible.

In this game, random encounters is a necessary evil to get you to level up faster. There's not much time here to grind you or whatsoever. You WILL die at the final boss fight if your level is 13 less. (Max Level is 20) I remember setting up the encounter rate rate incredibly high already so you won't fight that much often. (100 steps)

Did you seriously die on a slime? If so... that ain't the fault of the game, in fact i dunno how that's possible.
