have you ever thought of doing life drawing classes, kyrsty?
it's definitely a good picture, i just feel like you could improve your anatomy somewhat by taking some of these classes. i'm only saying this now because i've recently started doing them and they're surprisingly helpful ^^. (plus it's kinda therapeutic). it's very useful to be able to draw well realistically because you have more of a basis to work around when doing anime. i know this from experience haha my anatomy in pictures has been (and often still is) awful.

the frontpage isn't always about showing off masterpieces, it's about keeping people updated with the latest goings on no matter what the quality of it may be. sure it's a shame that deep blog posts get bumped down but that's inevitably going to happen anyway. if a crazy amount of blog posts were like this we'd have a problem, but they're really not.

You just have so much contempt for a crowd that has and is producing high quality content of the likes of which you could not hope to achieve. I suppose having only been in the community for six months as opposed to 8 years really gives you a lot of insight huh
god this is such a non-issue, if people want to read blogs click on the 'blogs,' link to catch up on things, or maybe subscribe to that game. it's not like the frontpage is everything

i had a look through all my work today to do a portfolio for my art college interview and it all made me very depressed.
i have a lot less to show than i thought, so i'm doing as much art as i possibly can in the next two weeks. i'm kinda happy with this piece, though i still have anatomy problems...she looks a little like a cyclops haha.
i'm trying as hard as i can to move away from anime/manga but it's very frustrating to do after imitating a certain style for so long
