I am 26 years old. I love to play homebrewed games. Now I am learning how RPG maker works. I also have SMBX that I play around with. I used to be the web master for a Anime Community that is no longer runing.

Why is it that so many people are ircked about ZELDA
So let me say this. I am new to this site and some of the negativity that i have been getting about my wanting to make a game about LOZ is, frankly, getting old. I thought that this site was about making games and not about getting angery about people who really like to make them. Do not get me wrong when i say this. I have had a lot of positive feed back on this LOZ thing that i am in to. BUT COME ON PEOPLE, are we children or adults. I used to be a beta tester for a retro gaming site. I loved testing Rom hacks. it was like a twist on old favorites. I fell in love with this site and all of this " you are stupid" stuff is turning me off from this site. Is it so wrong that a Business major want to have fun with vidoe games!. No I dont think so. So please grow up and have fun making games. Is that not what this site is about. Not Flamming!

How about a LOZ event?
I think this would be a great game for the site to make. I for one will like to play it. It should also be an ABS system. LOZ with rpg type battles get boring and old. Played one. Or even a tactical system like FF Tactics would be something to think about.

Ok. it like this. I need more monsters for the game that act like the ones from any LOZ game. So far i am using minnish grafix. but the old school is still cool. lol any ways the story i would like is something like this. link is finding that somethings that were in his world are no longer there. he keeps getting visited by he future selves (more than one) and they help him on his way to turn hyrule back the way it was before the bad guy messed it all up ( have not made this yet). the demo i have to base this off of is here...

Loz NEW demo
Ok well i had a wonderful idea to play arround with this new program that i found. and it was rpg maker 2003. as i start to look for sprites and stuff to put in i find games at the same time. the first one i found was some game about a chemical spill or something like that. but what caught my attention about this game the most was that they had attacking on the world that you move in. a far cry from the turn based rpg that i thought i was going to make. but the first thing that made me think of was zelda. i wanted to make a zelda game, but have no idea were to start. so i go to the internet. it reminded me of when i was 15 and trying to make websites. so much fun i had back then. well any ways, i found a zelda game on this site. but it was turn based.... not what i was looking for... so i flound this starter pack that was abs. it had minnish grafix and i was like wow.. link blinks!!.. well i made this demo and i had it working. but being the type of person that i am. i messed with the wrong things and now my demo wont work. so i would like if some one could help ne out with this.. i have only been useing this program for about 2 weeks. thank you and sorry about the sentences
New on the map
Hi i would liketo say that im a 26 year old who has always wanted to make video games.. thats when i found rm2k3.. i was like heck yeah!.so i started to make a game about a dude that gets caught up in a war with the dragon god. so he has to destroy every single dragon in the world.. i did a lot of work on it. but i desided to scrapt after i went looking to see what kind of resorces i could find to put in the game.. i found some sites that claimed to have them but they never quite fit. then i found this site. the first game i got was exile.. and after i saw what the battle system was, and how it compared to my game i was like im not ready.
i mean after all i have only been doing this for 2 weeks at best. so i went to see what all was out there.. mainly on this site. i used to be a web master. and the way i learned was to look at the source page breakit down and play with the coding.. well after looking at say 20 games i have learned alot so my first thing that i am going to do now is to make a great zelda game..now how i have it now is that i am able to have link swing his sword and to take damage. but i have not been able to cause damage.or to cut bushes...now tell me who dont like cutting bushes. i also got loz type menu and a few items you can pick from. just cant use them yet. so when i finnish i will make a 1 dungeon demo and see what happens with it.. will keep you posted.
